I am infinitely curious, ever-reforming, and zombie-prepared.
My Self-Summary
I still consider myself too young to quit having
ridiculous, over-the-top dreams.
Published author, big-time game developer, gourmet chef, celebrated
artist... All stuff I still consider myself capable of,
someday-maybe-possibly. I'm a computer nerd and love working on
programming
and logical problems by dissecting things and seeing how they tick.
I've recently adopted the motto of "Spread joy, be joyful" as the
guiding rules for anything I do, and consider that to be all I
really need. I've also recently discovered I like cooking, and am
pretty good at it even, so I've been learning all I can about it
here and there and subjecting my friends to my experiments... None
have complained yet, so apparently I'm at least going the right
direction with it. I still build with Legos and have fights with
Nerf guns and I like the occasional round of frisbee golf and a
game of softball whenever possible. I have a mostly-fleshed-out
plan in case of the event of
Zombie Apocalypse, devised with some
assistance from friends. I'm also incredibly fascinated by
Steampunk
currently.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a student and working on getting my graphics and
game design company
going somewhat. Mostly, though, I'm just trying to enjoy my life
while I hold the real world at bay for another year or two before
it comes bearing down on me full bore. I just want to enjoy myself
and spend time with good friends as much as possible.
I’m really good at
Concocting ridiculous schemes, computer-based artwork, making
people laugh, wasting time, cooking, gaming, sarcasm, making lists.
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, my eyes, and generally whatever unusual clothing I'm
wearing that day. I'm told my voice and laugh are pretty striking
too, but I wouldn't really know.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books:
Harry
Potter series, Battlefield Earth, anything by
Dean Koontz (especially Seize
the Night), Gunslinger series by Stephen King, lots of random
science fiction and fantasy... anything with a good world built
around it fascinates me.
Movies:
Pirates of the
Caribbean,
Princess Bride,
Dawn of the Dead,
Army of
Darkness, the Transporter, plenty others... I'm a big sci-fi
and horror movie person.
Music: Just about anything, I enjoy all different sorts of music
depending on my mood. Lately it's been a lot of punk rock, though
not for any particular reason really. MSI (Mindless Self
Indulgence) would probably be my favorite right now.
Foods: Again, not too picky. I like all sorts of food, I eat all
the time and am trying to try a lot of new and different stuff for
the sake of improving my cooking. Broadening my culinary horizons,
or whatever you would like to call it.
The six things I could never do without
My computer and all my graphics and writing that's saved on it, my
cellphone to stay in touch with friends and family, fast internet
connection, a notebook or sketchbook for doodling and writing, my
ultra-awesome friends, and background music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Brainstorming whatever my current creative endeavor is, thinking of
strange new recipes / storylines / contraptions, quantum mechanics
and how it applies to time travel, various philosophical concepts
("why are we here?" and other less cliched ones), observing
whatever happens to be going on around me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Could be anything. Hanging out with friends, out and about dancing
and drinking (or occasionally dancing then desi-driving), staying
home working on the latest project to capture my obsession, who
knows what.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Eh, I'll admit about anything... Not a big fan of broadcasting
though. Ask me a question about anything you want, and chances are,
I'll answer. I tend to be pretty upfront and / or blunt about most
anything.
You should message me if
...you feel like messaging me. I'm all for hearing from new people.
Everyone likes the pink New Message icon.
