Music-loving, coffee-chugging university student here. Music is one of my passions in life, both in terms of listening, playing and creating (even though the latter only happens sporadically). It's probably hard to find me without a pair of headphones around my neck!

I'm currently studying, but when I'm not running around campus attending lectures I spend my time cooking food (I love trying new things, and I've been told I'm good at it), grabbing coffee or drinks with friends (I'm a big fan of the black gold), reading books, , listening to and discovering new music, browsing used records stores or exercising. I also try my hand at writing once in a while (figuratively of course, because my hand writing is awful!). Hoping to at some point get some time to do some serious travelling.

I have a passion for music, and while I'm open to and listen to a lot of different kinds of music, I tend to circle around rock and metal music, and I'm a sucker for concept albums. My favourite artists include Dream Theater, Opeth, Meshuggah, Tool, 70's progressive rock acts like Rush, Yes, Genesis, Emerson Lake & Palmer and Pink Floyd.

Currently reading The Hobbit, in anticipation of the upcoming movies. When it comes to books in general I especially enjoy all of John Ajvide Lindqvist's work ("Let the Right One In", "Handling the Undead", "Harbour" etc.). I also very much liked "The Alchemist" and "The Pilgrimage" by Paulo Coelho and "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson. Since I'm also a big fan of HBO's Game of Thrones, I plan on reading all of the books in the "A Song of Ice and Fire"-series.

TV shows: The Walking Dead, Star Trek, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who.

Movies: Kubrick, Tarantino, Coppola, Nolan, Carpenter, a lot of horror movies and other science fiction.

Music, coffee, family, friends, Youtube, and that feeling you get when you look up on a starry night sky; you know that feeling when you feel so small because everything is so vast, and you can't just concieve the full vastness of it all. Blows my mind everytime, and I couldn't live without it... it's one of those things that keeps me excited about life.

Sometimes I also wonder if I was born a couple of generations too late. It would've been cool to experience the 70's!

Probably home watching a show or a movie, unless I have a nice party to attend, or someone to drink beer with, hang out with or go to the movies with. Can't lie; I'm not a fan of night clubs... unless, perhaps, the company is very good.
