My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a person who is looking for a lady to cuddle and have late-night Doctor Who marathons with. I love kittens and rainbows and staying up 'til four in the morning playing video games. I'm a Star Trek fanboy, Marvel geek, and an aficionado of Victorian literature. I have a giant dog and a spoiled lap cat. I'm a webcomic fanatic and blog addict. Copyeditor by day, superhero by night. Let's have a conversation.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a young professional employed full-time. I recently graduated from MU with an English degree; minors in Sociology, Psychology, and a Multicultural Certificate.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing (or so I've been told), reading absurd amounts of books, dancing when I think nobody's looking, and being a dinosaur.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am not an adorable kitten.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Jane Eyre, 18th and 19th British literature, Dostoevsky, Shakespeare, sci-fi, Ender's Game, Neil Gaiman and Orson Scott Card, Marvel comics, Batwoman, Fables.

Movies: I love movies that aren't predictable and actually make you think. I haven't really been able to find really astounding movies recently. I'm a big fan of Miyazaki films.

Music: Eclectic! I'll listen to just about anything.

Food: I LOVE FOOD. I love Indian food and Thai food and Mexican and Italian food. It's delicious!

Does anybody actually read these? I imagine they'd be terribly boring/monotonous. "Oh, let me list every single book and band I've ever liked, EVER." As long as you can actually READ and are aware that food is vital to your health, I don't really feel it matters.

But hey, if nobody's reading this:

Once upon a time, there was a porcupine. She was the loneliest porcupine in the world. She had never had a single friend. Everyone in the forest was scared of her because they thought that she would shoot her sharp quills at them, and so they stayed away. The porcupine lived her life in solitude, longing only for a single hug.

One day, someone drifted over to her home. A visitor! Maybe a visitor who would want to be friends, and possibly even hug her! The porcupine was giddy with excitement, and set to tidying up her burrow.

Once her home was satisfactorily clean, the porcupine sauntered outside, trying to appear nonchalant. She pretended to not notice the visitor for a while, until...

"Oh!" said the porcupine, feigning surprise. "Whomever might you be?"

The stranger said nothing.

"You'll have to excuse me," the porcupine added, "I just don't get guests that often. Oh! Not to imply that I don't have friends, for I certainly do, it's just that they don't like to stop over to visit and--"

The stranger moved closer, startling the porcupine into silence.

"Well...well my, you certainly are...quiet, aren't you?" Held breath as she waited for the stranger's response.

He moved ever closer.

"Well, I--I just remembered that I left my...moth! Yes, I left my moth on! Hah, you know how they can get unless you...clip their toenails regularly. How foolish of me, I certainly can get quite forgetful, I'd better pop inside and"

The stranger moved still closer.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Literature
2. Food
3. Sleep
4. Comics
5. Kittens
6. Liquid eyeliner
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Absurdly silly and unrelated things. Books that I would like to read. Books that I have already read. Girls. My friends. How great my pets are (they're pretty awesome). Whether tying helium-filled balloons to a human/small animal would actually make them float. Breeds of cats. Makeup. Cars. My love/hate relationship with television.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I do a lot of different things! Nothing's really that typical for me. Definitely running with my dog at some point (he's half-Malamute, half-husky, and all energy). After that, I might do crafts, or try a new recipe, or play video games for way too long.

I sometimes go out to clubs, and sometimes my friends and I will marathon ridiculous anime. I'm usually up for anything!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was a child I made up a song called "Alligator Jam" and I feel that tells you everything you need to know about my personality.

You would like to talk to me/if you think I'm even moderately interesting. Priority is given to messages containing wit, proper spelling and grammar, something related to what I've disclosed thus far, or a combination thereof.

Please note: I am monogamous, and any serious relationship I would be in would not be open. I'm also interested in casual sex, though!
