My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, my name is James. I grew up in North Dallas near Plano, but I moved to Austin for a few years after college. Now I'm back, living in Uptown.

I am attracted to energetic free spirits, and I like to surround myself with curious and thoughtful people. But above all, I am looking for magnetic chemistry.

I believe that life is about perspective.

Your position in life. The choices you make. Your success. Are all driven by your perspective.

It's your point of view. It’s your belief system. It’s how you see the world.

I try not to think of perspective in terms of right or wrong. More in terms of broad and narrow. Or one sided.

Often times we're just not seeing the whole picture. We’re only seeing a narrow sliver of what’s really going on.

But we often believe that our perspective is the way things really are.

Thus our perspective shapes our beliefs. And in so doing, guides our behavior. Our trajectory.

It affects our motivations. Desires. What we think about. What we focus on. What we spend our time on. And so it influences the choices we make.

And while your perspective changes over time. It expands and develops. It’s uniquely yours.

Perspective, vision is what separates the artists, the creators, the true achievers from the unfortunate, uninspired and unromantic.

Well that's my philosophy on life. Here's a little bit about my background.

I am curious, creative, and protean
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In 2003 I co-founded the Colorado Federal Savings Bank (Cofedbank) Internet division, where I served as the Director of Development through January 2008, and I am working on a new venture now.

On the weekends I usually party with my friends. Depending on the time of year, we go the lake, float the river, travel, or go out and do whatever is going on that day. I try to stay balanced by working out and hopefully playing tennis a few times a week.

Presently I am the President of an interactive advertising agency.
