My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
What's more fun than taking good friends on a food crawl along Abbott Kinney or K-town? I love trying new tastes, sharing good stories, and laughs amongst great food.

I enjoy art, good music, and creative writing.

Working on not working a lot. First things first, define "a lot".
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Hmmm....there's a plan unfolding. I was lucky to recently land my dream job. Yes, I'm learning to embrace the nerd in me. I also love travelling all over the world.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
They say, if I had to be a Smurf, I'd be Handy Smurf. If it's broke, I can fix it!

If there was enough money in it, I'd probably have been a life coach or a teacher. I do both quite well.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My chin dimple.

I like the usual nerdy stuff like doctor who, BSG, saturday morning cartoons, etc. So the more unique stuff follows.

Movies :
I haven't watched them in a bit, but Akira Kurosawa's work always fascinated me. Also, Fritz Lang. These two influenced so much of the work around them and after them.

I used Anthony Bourdain's show as a stencile for my visit to Singapore recently. I found this great road to drive on on the show 5th gear and when I was in Abu Dhabi, we went and explored.

I like brit humor. Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Are you served?, Fawltey Towers, and I'm a little ashamed to admit, Absolutely Fabulous.

Music : just as varied from venessa may to tool
I use music as an enhancer of my current state. Motivate for workouts, soothe the restless soul, communicate something
from the ID to the ego.

I've always wished I could make my own. Future goal, then.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'd go insane without these things, so here goes :
1) The trust of friends. It's hard to earn and easy to loose.
2) Great food and drink - cheap or expensive... it's all an adventure so let's do it!
3) International travel- learning new cultures, new tastes, sounds, scents. Gotta spend that coin.
4) Song. It calms the restless soul, excites the waning spirit, soothes the wounded heart
5) Honest work. To play hard, you gotta work hard. And that's ok.
6) A hand to hold. In the best of times, it's good to share the experience. In the worst of times , it call pull you in to the light.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how to update my house.

How to make my profile shorter and more interesting. Ideas?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...catching a plane to meet friends internationally or in NYC.

OR making supper for my neighbors in LA.

OR I'm learning to dance....ah hem....on the beach.

Not really but I'd learn if you'd dance with me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
after the coffee date...or whatever that first meeting thing is...
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You love to try new things, enjoy the company of friends with a good meal, and are willing to explore new places both in life and around the world.

I'm looking for cool friends to hang out with just as much as dates in here. So, I might message you even if our match % sucks and there's no chance of a romantic relationship.

Maybe that will be the private thing I admit on our first "meeting".
