My self-summary
I am a book and music addict, artist, and in many different ways a massive geek. Also, I draw all over everything.

I have a hard time approaching people but once I get to know you, I open up and become much more outgoing, I swear.

I have a soft spot for eccentric people: whether this be through interests, clothing style, musical tastes, ideology, passions, etc. Also love people with great (dark) senses of humor, who don't take themselves too seriously.
What I’m doing with my life
Working the full-time job, trying to save enough to move out. Currently in Oakville, but aim to be in Toronto as soon as I can afford it.

I recently started a new job as a Proofreader. I *just* finished my Publishing Certificate from Ryerson, and glad to be done school for a while.

I am trying to become a published graphic novelist, which is what I want to do long-term (if I can manage to make any money doing it). I am currently developing my own story (working title Cybertrash), and having a blast!
I’m really good at
Dancing badly.
The first things people usually notice about me
Definitely the height. Wow, I'm tall? I hadn't noticed! ;)

Most people seem to find me a little to a lot odd (depending on their tolerances I suppose x3).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am a *huge* bibliophile and could not live without music. Here's the shortshortshort (excruciatingly short) list!

Currently reading/watching/listening to:
Soul Eater/Archer/Trust

Lord of the Rings, Waiting for Godot, Battle Royale, The Solitude of Prime Numbers, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Watchmen, Death Note, Ghost in the Shell, Lychee Light Club, H.P. Lovecraft...

Requiem for a Dream, Rocky Horror Picture Show, anything Bruce Campbell, most things zombie, The Life of Brian, Studio Ghibli, Rent, Tropic Thunder, Edward Scissorhands, old horrors...

South Park, Durarara!! (OMG DURARARA), Metalocalypse, Frisky Dingo, Elfen Lied, Kuroshitsuji, Chaos;head, The Walking Dead, Home Movies, Parks & Rec, the IT Crowd...

My main (but not only) areas of interest lie in the 80s, electronic and industrial areas. LOVE going to concerts.

Here are some of the bands I've seen this year:
Depeche Mode / The Cure / Black Sabbath / KISS / Tegan & Sara / Muse / Dope Stars Inc. / Reel Big Fish / Squid Lid

Here are others I've seen fairly recently:
The Faint / VNV Nation / MSI / Aesthetic Perfection / Combichrist / Justice / The M Machine / Shiny Toy Guns
The six things I could never do without
Books, music, my friends, pens, stickers & my right hand.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How tempting it is to spam people on here with really random questions.

Whether you are pro or anti the serial comma.
On a typical Friday night I am
TRY ME. I am always down for a shenanigan or two.

That said, I do not dig romantic comedies, sports (save the winter olympics) or top-40 crud. Please do not do that to me. It burns.

But yes, concerts. I need more concert friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My supervillain name is Mostly Explosions.
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 25–33
  • Near me

Also, NO one-night crud or prostitution solicitations, please and thank you. Not that kind of girl xx
