I'm not sure I believe in a self summary... ;)

I'm a social worker, I work with kids, and for extra cash I clean houses. I have my masters in clinical social work. Im blessed to be doing something I love and to be in a profession where growth and continued learning is a must. I work hard and play hard, and if it's possible to chill hard, i do that too.

True Romance is my favorite movie of all time. Quentin Tarantino is the shit.... comedies that make me laugh till I wanna pee my pants are rare but appreciated. I don't really like stupid romantic comedies, but a romance with a good sex scene is always a go. I really like the movie Requiem for a Dream. I've seen Goodfellas like a thousand times, literally. You can't go wrong with documentaries.

Music: currently playing through my headphones is a playlist with: The Roots, Erykah Badu, Zion I, the Beatles, Tribe Called Quest, Pink Floyd, Damian Marley, Dangerdoom, Otis Redding, Van Morrison, J Dilla, Allison Krauss, Mos Def, Nirvana, The Pixies, Little Dragon, Common, D'Angelo, Nina Simone, John Coltrane, Wisin y Yandel, Aventura, Frank Ocean. If you can hang with that hella ADD playlist then I like you already. I was raised to love all kinds of music, so there's probably a song I love in any genre... but I love to dance and hip hop is what makes me wanna move.

Food: I will try ANYTHING. picky/unadventurous eaters annoy me. I love sushi, cheeseburgers, pasta with buttery white wine sauces, ice cream with grilled bananas butter and brown sugar, blt's, a good steak (especially in Argentina), pho, pozole, enchiladas, tacos, hashbrowns, over-easy eggs, bread and cheese, pretty much any and all fruit and veggies.

family, friends, good food, good sleep, passion, and perspective.

the other six things i can't do without: butter, hoop earrings, warm sunny days, dental floss, touch, laughing.

the beauty and ugliness that exist simultaneously in the world, and how such a dichotomy came to exist and what it all means... I think a lot about social justice and all the ism's in the world. I think a lot about my endless flaws. I also think a lot about needing to not think so much.

friends. bar. dancing. music. art. couch. my bed. movie. whiskey. green...it's a toss up, but a combination of any of the above will do

ummm i'll keep this light and unimportant...at a party as a youngster i once stuffed a handful of blunt guts in my mouth thinking they were chocolate shavings - it was super embarrassing but i joined in the laughter once i finished choking.
