I am interesting, inquisitive, and soft hearted.
My Self-Summary
I can cook (well), dance, sew (if I have to), debate (normally
after a glass of wine so tell me to shut up), change the break pads
on a car (but it took ALL day and I am never doing it again),
garden (happily), sing (terribly and usually on the M5). Friends
tell me I am strong but slightly dippy and that I am a
workaholic.
I have a sense of wonder about nature and will stop the car to look
at clouds. I like to laugh and don't do it often enough. I am well
travelled: Singapore, Malaysia, France, Egypt.
My life is full but I miss romance and its ages since I looked at
someone and had butterflies in my stomach.
Now in French
I can read French well but my accent is dreadful
Now in Welsh
I am half Welsh by birth and half of me thinks I should learn to
speak it properly
What I’m doing with my life
Spending most of the time dreaming out of the window when I should
be writing. Running around like a demented idiot looking after
friends and family. Trying to teach my teenage son not to create a
fire hazard in his bedroom. Catching odd weekends at remote
cottages in Wales, fishing (don't ask), dodging invites to go scuba
diving/absailing from said son (did it once, never again).
I’m really good at
Writing, gardening (I've got green fingers), making people feel
loved, sorting out problems, making a mess in the kitchen and am
excellent at avoiding the washing up.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair - its got its own life force, my eyes (which are green
behind my specs) and - if I like who I am talking to, a certain
impulsiveness.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Too many books to mention - and they depend on my mood. I think its
easier to say what I don't like here: movies - I watch everything
but don't enjoy gore soaked horror, music - I listen to everything
but don't like punk or serious jazz, food - I eat everything but
don't like too much aniseed.
The six things I could never do without
My son, writing, mascara, a fast car, sheep dogs, coffee?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Organising my life into a less hectic routine, whether its too
early to invest in anti wrinkle cream at the age of 46, the nature
of happiness and how its best achieved, work, finishing painting
the bathroom, whether the cat will need to be shaved again (its a
Persian but thinks its a farm cat), whether I am going senile or is
it just eccentric, writing, whether the man of my dreams exists or
not.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'd love to say I'm out on the town but I'm normally cooking a
fantastic meal, enjoying the company of friends watching a dvd or
listening to music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm not admitting to anything on a public site!
You should message me if
