Because I'm easy going and tend to get along with most anyone, I have the most interesting, diverse group of friends you could ask for. I'm lucky to have them as friends! I'm pretty focused (without being intense) and am good at attending to things that count and making sure I do what needs to be done to accomplish my goal. I'm an explorer at heart, like geocaching, love discovering new places and experiencing new things in the city. Change in the city is rapid, it's hard to keep up. So much is at our finger tips. I like biliards- 8 ball, 9 ball, and straight pool. Bonus points if you own your own stick. I enjoy the arts, museums, galleries, pop-up shows, site installations, great food, fine wine, and as the show title goes...diners, drive in's, and dives as well as 4 star restaurants. It's all good as long as the food is amazing. I'm very happy spending time in the outdoors. I believe Sasquatch exists. I'm an avid fisherman. I teach fly fishing when I'm not selling ad space or spear heading a project and find myself on the water every chance I get. As much as I love fly fishing, I give my spin fishing gear equal time. I find there's nothing more relaxing than a hike in the woods or gliding silently at sunrise in a canoe on a lake with water as smooth as glass, observing nature "wake up". What an amazing Zen like experience. I have keen powers of observation, and pay close attention to detail....one of the reasons why I enjoy photography. I notice many people don't "stop to smell the roses", are often rushing and don't take the time to notice the simple and unique things around us. We do it all the time (commonplace in NYC), but if you learn to take just a few moments...you may discover a new way of approaching/dealing with the "day to day"...I have, it works!
I love to cook and having a fellow foodie and chef to share the experience with would be nice. I'm very tactile. I hope you are as well. I'm a firm believer in excellent communication and believe it's the key to success in any relationship. I believe that holds true for business as well. I am tactfully open with my opinion and will readily share it. At the same time I respect the opinions of others and find that agreeing to disagree can often be a win win situation. You ought to know although I am spiritual, I'm not big on organized religion. There's so much more I want to do in life. Have to get through that bucket list ;). Each relationship is a learning experience for me and from each one I've learned to better define and recognize what traits I like and what I don't in a partner...and improve in myself. Perhaps I'll have my last "first date" with someone from OKC. I'm an attentive, easy going, focused, outdoorsy, business savvy, urban sophisticated, social person with eclectic tastes and hope to meet someone with a plethora of similar interests.

Trying to re-launch my magazine on collectible photography. Enjoying the ride on a 1969 vintage Raleigh 3 Speed English Racer I recently restored. Successfully dry aging steak at home. Working on perfecting my homemade pasta recipe and rolling by hand sans an Atlas machine...eating the test batches :)

Communication, negotiating, cooking, making a killer flan, grinding short rib, brisket and chuck for burgers yum! Being a loyal friend, listening to and helping them work through issues. Exploring new places armed with only a map. Having long or short hairstyles. Tooling around Mid-coast Maine with my Gazetteer. Getting my orchids to bloom every year.

My smile, and I wear black most of the time. I'm told I have a distinctive laugh. People think I'm in my forties.

Being an avid fisherman and instructor, fishing journals, books and manuals make up a good portion of my reading. Always something new to learn to perfect my craft and teach. I read, government and espionage themed fiction and non-fiction. Was a big fan of "24". I watch food programs, cooking programsNat Geo, PBS, Secrets of New York, programs about anomalies in science and nature...you get the idea. I view the gamut of film, main stream, indy, foreign, don't mind subtitles. I'm a foodie...anything goes. Same with music,Deep houseto classical, except I'm not big on country western.

My fishing gear, my friends, my car, my cooking supplies, sharp knives, my camera, my books, the great outdoors....I'm not counting...

Doing whatever sounds like fun at the time or attending to a project I'm spear heading. Nothing is typical for me on Friday night or any night for that matter.

You may think this is odd but, I have seen a UFO...really! I was not alone when it happened so I can prove I wasn't imagining things ;)

You can comfortably make the switch from heels to hiking boots and enjoy being in the company of someone who's able to hold a conversation on many subjects. You enjoy being with someone who is enthusiastic, creative, urban savvy, who appreciates the arts, outdoors, and fishing and you're open minded when it comes to food...have pictures posted please.
