My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
One thing's for sure-- I feel kind of stupid doing this... Not that anyone else on here is stupid. I've just figured these kinds of dating sites aren't for me.
(Sigh)
Anyway, I'm stubborn, independent, yet at the same time a little too polite for my own good, and I'm a hard worker. Now that I've graduated from college with an English degree, I'm planning to jump right into my book writing and job hunting! So how I'm gonna find time for this website, I have no idea. I just figured it was time to be a little spontaneous for once in my life.
I don't take kindly to stalkers or juvies-- so if anyone here has a criminal record behind them, get off my web page. No heavy drinkers either; I have enough of those in my own family. Otherwise, um, good luck(?) I guess that's a semi-appropriate greeting...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My ultimate goal right now is to finish writing a book (don't ask me what it's about; telling y'all might jinx it)! I'm also looking for a decent paying job (preferably in my English field), using up this year to work and decide what I want to do for a masters degree. However, when I'm completely done with school, I want to get my taste of the world... Maybe spend a year as a nomad-- traveling places, associating with different cultures, experiencing new things. Hopefully, I can do all of that when my main career choice to become a best-selling novelist comes true! One never knows.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, singing, & acting... Mostly writing, though.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a quiet person w/a major poker face. Yeah, on the surface I'm polite, shy, and refined. However, for those who actually take the time to approach me and get to know me, they'll come to see me open up to them and reveal my entire personality.
Remember, it's always the quiet ones... ;-)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
All of my favorite books so far have been fiction-- mostly fantasy, but I still appreciate a good bit of realistic fiction and SOME sci-fi; as long as there's romance in it, I'll probably enjoy reading it. Though, I also like the classics every once in a while (from Jane Austen's "Pride & Prejudice" &/or Charlotte Bronte's "Jane Eyre", to Edgar Allen Poe's short story thrillers and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "Sherlock Holmes") as well as books of poems/famous quotes. I also don't mind an occasional scientific or historical piece, if it's really good... Like stories from WWII, or perhaps documents of some peculiar medical/biological ventures that give you goosebumps such as "The Hot Zone."
I don't watch much t.v. nowadays. When I do, however, it's mostly Animal Planet or the National Geographic channel. One show I'm gradually becoming a fan of, though, is Bones on TNT. As for movies, I watch just about every kind except pornos or horror flicks.
Music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE music-- just about every kind: Rock, classic rock, alternative, hip-hop, pop, R&B, musicals, choral classics, folk, country. Yeah, I pretty much love everything about music. Lol.
Food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love food, too. I'm definitely not one of those girls who keep a very light diet. I still eat plenty of healthy stuff, but I also enjoy some fast food about as much as the next person. If I could choose my favorite cultural-type food, it would be Italian... w/Japanese coming a close second.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1.) God
2.) My sister (she kind of holds a special significance compared to the rest of my family-- we're practically two halfs of a whole!)
3.) My family
4.) My friends
5.) The Arts: Drama, music, writing, visual art, & dance
6.) Um-- sleep, I guess... I couldn't think of a good sixth thing; besides, all girls need their beauty rest :-))
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Anything and everything... I can be an avid day-dreamer. If my mind were a canvas it'd be covered by a massive collage of so many thoughts, dreams, and pictures; it would be hard to distinguish any of them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Reading or watching t.v. with my friends &/or family. I'm not a mole, but I do spend most of my time staying in. Maybe someday a certain someone can change that...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Nothing... I don't share secrets with just anyone. Just as I don't share my entire personality w/people I don't know very well. If you've proven yourself a trustworthy and lasting friend, only then do I open up.

You were born in my generation and favor any of the qualities I've mentioned above, I guess...
