I'm off the market. Sorry. When someone as good as the man I've got in my life comes along, you aren't about to screw it up. And being an honest creature, as well as a monogamous one, I'm not going to lead you on. Go ahead and read the rest of the profile, but know that I'm taken.

I'm a genuine, funny, sweet of nature girl. I'm a listener with great people skills and a wickedly dry and dark sense of humor.

I'm working on a lot of personal improvement. I'd like to be able to think of myself as a well rounded individual capable of contribution to society as a whole, so improving on my snide, wisecracking ass is necessary.

That, and someday, I'd like to have kids without too many major adjustments to my life, so quitting smoking and getting rid of stimulants (caffeine) are my current goals.

I'm a goal driven person - I've got a lot of them, in different areas of my life, anything from my health to my retirement, to potentially learning yet another new trade.

I've done a lot of stuff with my life. Metal fabrication, welding, horse shoeing, computer certifications, animal services, dog sitting and walking, clerical assistance, account management for 80+ retail accounts in a sporting goods category for a locally based international company, call center specialization, food service management, pond and natural biological filtration systems science service and installation with a joint venture into pond life, just to name a few. And I had fun with most of them.

Right now, I'm back in the mostly private sector working for an educational products distributor. Sometimes, its a lot of frustration, but the good days make it worth it.

I have a ton of hobbies.......and reading, quilting, calligraphy....

I know a lot of stuff. Trivial Pursuit stuff.

Looking stuff up online. Example: I just looked up Goth movies. I own a lot of them on several different lists. :) Means I'm on the right track.

Red hair, brown eyes, 5'8", cartilage piercings (two sets in silver), and my sense of humor. Beyond that is for someone else to judge.

I'm also quiet, a good listener, have a wicked sense of humor, and have a great poker face. I can be a little hard to read sometimes, from what I've been told, but have also been told that when something catches my fascination, I light up like an Xmas tree on crack.

(a) Harry Potter Series, Dan Brown books. J.R. Ward and other Vampire oriented fiction and borderline erotic fiction. Why, I don't know. I'm just there at this time. Liking some new stuff too by Gena Showalter. Yeah - a lot of these might be classified as TRNs (Trashy Romance Novels), but there is some value to reading them - my imagination runs just wild as all git out, and stylistic points that are worth the lesson.

(b) I'm up for just about anything, Die Hard to Disney. Don't do horror well. Vampire Hunter D was my first anime, and I haven't been able to look at animation the same way since. Am a huge anime fan, and while my repertoire is fairly limited by budget and time, I'm always interested in seeing more. Will be collecting the whole of InuYasha and Full Metal Alchemist when I get a chance.

(c) Classic Rock, Softer old rock, and AC/DC is a perennial favorite, specifically. Been listening to a lot of Springsteen, too. Music is a weird thing for me - I like what I like. I mean, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon... all turn me to mush, and here I sit looking into the next time AC/DC and Wierd Al will be in WI. I've just got too much that I like.

(d) California rolls, Yakisoba (homemade), hard boiled eggs, most vegetarian foods, gnocchi with pesto sauce, and a few other things. I like a wide variety of things. And can't forget Chinese or Japanese steamed dumplings. Any man bringing me those will be gifted. Handsomely. I can be had, and that is the price. And if they are homemade... I'll make your day special, too.

Why limit to six? The way I see it, we should go hog wild.

My sense of humor. My family. My pets. A good book. Something to write on and with (as is evidenced by my Circa PDA's permanent place of honor in my jacket pocket with a G2 pen). Something to do. Sweetness. My appreciation for music. Sex and love.

Yeah, I could probably live without the sex, but what fun would that be? Stupid, spontaneous, fun, and laugh filled sex is that which makes relationships fun and cohesive. Take that out of the equation, and its just way to serious for my blood. It would be like drinking Coke Classic syrup straight from the jug - full of flavor, but missing the lightness that you enjoy.

Going out with my family, going out with friends for karaoke, staying home, watching tv or movies, reading, marathon sewing, writing, going out and doing stuff just for the sake of doing stuff....

And then there is the laundry. Everyone's got the mundanes to do.

Privately, I adore the type of relationship where I can lounge around in pjs on a Sunday morning, reading papers and listening to politico corruptus news (with a few good giggles at the really ridiculous stuff), whilst nibbling on something dangerously healthy, sipping something good, and cuddling with my SO. I honestly think that the best relationships are defined by the ability to relax fully and be yourself with the person you are with. For me, it's being able to indulge in my favorite things with my favorite person.

I'm currently seeing a guy who is my best friend, someone I enjoy spending time with, and who is so good to me, I have no clue what I did in a past life to deserve him - because I know I certainly couldn't have been that good in this one.

I'm always open to friendships, but anything beyond that is strictly off limits. Write me, if you like, but I'm not going to meet you offline. Ask me any question you like, but that which is private will remain so. And anything that goes beyond the line of friendship will be the end of that friendship.
