This summer has been a little bit weird for me because I tripped and fell crossing the street in June and broke my foot. Don't ask me how, because I really don't understand the mechanics of it, but I had not yet been drinking (we were on the way to the bar) and I was wearing sneakers. So while I would have liked to have been going to street fests and summer concerts and throwing together impromptu weekend bar crawls, I've been sitting in the house with my foot on the coffee table watching marathons of Game of Thrones and Dexter. And trying my luck at Nicolas Cage Roulette.
I tend to be a planner by nature, but I gravitate towards people who are more spontaneous who push me to just go and do without having to organize everything first. I'm always up to just let loose and do something that sounds fun, but I'm also one of the best people to go on vacation with because I will handle all the details. At work, I'm the person in charge of remembering birthdays, organizing happy hours and planning team dinners because I like to do things for other people...but I have a hard time letting people do things for me.
I love trivia nights, good coffee and good beer. I've spent the last few years teaching myself to cook with generally favorable results and I'm fluent in sarcasm. I'm looking for someone to have fun with who could turn into something serious. So let's talk.
