My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So I'm not good with broad questions. Well, here goes. I've recently come back to Vancouver, and I really, really would love to meet new people! I adore getting to know people and making new friends (cliche, I know, but true). I grew up in Vancouver, but I've been away at university for four years, and I'd like to get back on my feet, meet new people and try new things!

I've studied Psychology in university. Just finishing up my undergrad! Not too sure what I want to do with that yet, but definitely something to do with people. Helping people. Improving the world and people's lives and all that, especially in the area of Mental Health, to which I'm extremely passionate about!

I've also been considering the trades, electrical to be specific (less heavy lifting.)

I enjoy frolicking in the outdoors, playing guitar, writing and reading a good book. I've been looking for someone to write/play music with for ages, so if you're interested, send me a message! Fair warning though, I'm not that great. But I could be! I sing, play guitar, and play the piano. I used to play the violin and viola, but I'm not sure I remember how.

I've always been passionate about writing as well, and have started numerous novels. Never finished anything though. I always decide they're awful. One of these days, though, I will be famous! You should probably get my autograph now. ;)

As for the outdoors, I love it outside in any season! I've skied since I was a child, I love hiking, biking, walking, you name it! I'm also completely open to new things, so if you have any suggestions, let me know.

I also love anything used or vintage. Most of my clothing comes from consignment, vintage or second hand stores, and I love it! There are a few niches in Vancouver that I absolutely adore, which is part of the reason I am so excited to be back in this city! Consignment stores, here I come! Also, probably a trip down to Portland, Oregon. Road trip buddies, anyone?

Now let me get a bit deeper into who I am before I wrap this up. I am feminist, pro-choice, queer positive, and a fairly liberal individual of no religious background. Mental Health, as mentioned above, is a huge part of my life, both for personal reasons and because the lack of knowledge about it in our society is complete bullshit.

If you disagree with any of these things, I don't know if we would be the best of friends. I'd love to have a discussion about any of this though, as I find discussion the quickest way to knowledge. I am a fairly open minded individual, and would love to consider any other points of view. I just may not agree with them.

Hope to hear from you soon! ;)

Oh, and one last thing. If you like board games, please message me. Board games are my jam. When I say board games, I mean like.... strategy ones. Settlers of Catan is just the beginning of what games I enjoy. Puerto Rico? Diplomacy? Agricola? Anyone? Message me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Wow, that's a loaded question. Well, honestly, I'm not entirely sure. I'm finishing up my undergrad, and I want to do something meaningful. I'm not entirely sure what yet. I'm going to spend the next couple of years traveling, exploring, having new experiences, researching and relaxing, so I'm hoping that will help me figure it out!

Right now, I'm thinking teaching special education or going into some sort of counseling program. But it's up in the air!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I've been told I'm a great listener. Though maybe that's just my friends pulling my strings. I also like to think I'm an open minded individual, which I think is a talent in itself! I am also a great skier, a decent singer, a pretty good writer, and I am kick ass at the 'flow free' app on the iPhone/Android! Seriously. I love that game.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I'm wearing my glasses, my glasses. They are large and round. It's a thing. If not, I have no idea. Sometime strangers stop me on the street to compliment me on what I'm wearing?

I'm not trying to brag, I just stand out somethings. Cause I wear abnormal things.

6) Silence
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can make a mark on the world. How I can effect someone's life. How awful, and simultaneously wonderful our society is. The many road blocks and opportunities. It's a vast world out there, and I can only skim the surface.

So that was a little venture into my mind. I went free reign on the 'what do I think about?' question. The truth is, I think about a lot of things. Some of them are meaningful, some of them are trivial.

What colour socks do I wear?
How can I change the world?

There you go.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably spending time with my friends with a few drinks. However, I love nights that take a turn for the random! Setting out without a plan and seeing where things go is great!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I still sleep with my teddy bears. That's right. Bears. Plural. Deal with it.
