My self-summary
Hi! I'm a bit of dork-nerd hybrid. I love singing loudly in the car, shower, at home when nobody's around. And I have that terrible panic attack when I get caught in the act. But it doesn't seem to stop me from doing it. I'm much more open about dancing in public, it's just too much fun to not do it and I've got nothing to hide.

I'm an engineer in Bremerton, bet you can't guess who I work for. It's nice and quiet out here, but I do try to make my way over to Seattle often. There's just so much more to do and see over there. I like going to Movies at SIFF, photography, kinetic sculpture, cooking on a cold day, and urban exploration. I have a bit of a weakness when it comes to theme parties, those addicting events have led me to filling a costume closet that just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
What I’m doing with my life
I've been working for the last 2 years, once I hit 4 years at my company, I'll be 27 and have enough saved away to live out of a backpack for at least a year. I've never gone on a trip longer than a couple of weeks and I'd really like to get a chance to see more of the world. Until then I just go on smaller scale adventures.

I go on lots of mini roadtrips during the year. Mostly to get away and see new things, but also to go microbrewery hopping. There's just so much good beer to be had!
I’m really good at
My whole life I've been really good at math. When other kids spent their freetime playing football or coloring; I was off doing math. This led to lots of time playing with legos and toys like it. I try to make fun science experiments like colored fire, flammable bubbles, and light paintings.

Sarcasm! Humor! Wit! Few things in life are better than a pun war or snarky back and forth conversation. Sadly I only have a small number of friends I can pull this off with, and I would love to have some more!

My friends worship my cooking skills, but take that with a grain of salt. Their abilities don't go far beyond prepackaged meals, so when I show up with some kind of 4+ ingredient entrée they shit a brick.
The first things people usually notice about me
Definitely my height, at 6'3" I'm hard to miss.

I'm told I have 'Blazel' eyes whatever that means. When skeptics see for themselves, they agree. I dunno, it's a mystery of the universe.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a bit of a film geek. I watch all kinds of foreign, indie, classic movies as well as the stuff that makes it to the theater. I'm not particular about genre I just have to have my eyes glued to the screen the whole time (I do have a bias towards edgy/dark comedy though :P). Here's a few of my favorites in no particular order: 'Airplane', 'The Jerk', 'The Godfather', 'Big', '(500) Days of Summer', 'Clerks', 'Amélie', 'In Bruges', '7 Psychopaths', 'Toy Story 1,2,3', 'It's a Wonderful Life', 'Arsenic and Old Lace', 'The Weather Man', 'The Family Man', 'Matchstick Men', 'Duck Soup', 'The Great Dictator', 'Millions', 'Napoleon Dynamite', 'Sunshine', 'Choke', 'Fight Club', 'Edward Scissor Hands', 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory', and 'Oh Brother Where art Thou?' That's a good start right?

I tend to listen to Indie/Alternative Rock, They Might be Giants, Vampire Weekend, Blur, and Vacationer are up there on the list. Macklemore's new stuff is also fun. I like lots of other stuff too! I keep my radio tuned to 88.5's jazz/NPR during the day; at night I'll drink and dance to pretty much anything. Except country. I get irrationally anxious while it's playing and I have to turn it off.

'The Roald Dahl Omnibus', 'You are not so Smart', 'The Grapes of Wrath', and anything by Palahniuk (however you pronounce it).
The six things I could never do without
1) A Hammock
2) Slippers are incredible, you can pry them from my cold dead feet.
3) My travelpack, without it I'm limited my pockets.
4) DSLR Camera, so much to photograph, not enough time!
5) Shiny Things
6) Probably my head....for obvious reasons
