My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi I'm Emily, nice to virtually meet you. I am working full time at Citibank corporate as a Tax Information Reporting Analyst- exciting stuff right? I have a more than decent head on my shoulders and know what I want in life. I like to travel, read, see movies, and spend time with friends. I'm the person every random person in line chooses to talk to, and I like being approachable. Being kind and polite will take you far in life.

I am looking for someone who can appreciate a sarcastic sense of humor and likes to spend time together watching a new show or movie. I also am a big fan of live music. You can never go to too many concerts. This year I got to meet two of my favorite's- Matt Nathanson and Andrew McMahon. I also volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, and have been matched with my little sister for two years and counting. I like to volunteer at the animal shelter sometimes too. I am more of a cat person but I also like dogs. I read PostSecret every Sunday and I have a really great memory.

I am looking for a relationship. I want someone who looks forward to seeing me, and I them. I like someone who can take initiative and make plans but also go with the flow. If you're interested, shoot me a message. I don't like playing games, I give 100% honesty and expect the same. Also, I am not looking for an online pen pal. I want to go on a date and see if we have chemistry.

Some things you should know:
I am very clean and pretty organized. I don't want to be with someone super messy. I don't like people who don't want to make plans, or makes a habit of not keeping plans. I don't need a minute by minute schedule- I just like to know of some sort of plan. It is nice to have something to look forward too.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just started a new job as a Tax Information Reporting Analyst. I also started graduate school this semester. I am going for my MBA.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening ( like I have sonic hearing & actually listening to what you're saying), compromise, being sarcastic, being reliable, being punctual, being an excellent catch phrase partner, and knowing random facts about movies and television.

Being a supportive partner. I think it is all about the little things. Remembering which candy you like at the movies, recording a show you might like etc. It would be great to experience the same in return. I buy myself flowers right now, but maybe that will change soon.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The curly locks or my glasses if I'm wearing them.

I love having a Kindle and having instant access to most books. I enjoy fiction books mostly or fiction books that are based on real events, like Jodi Picoult's novels. I also enjoy a quick read like 50 Shades of Grey, cliche I know.

I watch lots of television. I love most shows on Bravo, but also watch scripted television. Some of my favorites are Dexter (the first four seasons), How I Met Your Mother, Modern Family, Shameless, Parks and Rec, Six Feet Under, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Big Brother, Bones, Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and Homeland.

Current nightly show: ER- oldie but goodie.

My music taste varies but I mostly listen to Top 40 Rock/Pop. My favorite bands or artists include Jack's Mannequin, Something Corporate, Matt Nathanson, Tom Petty, Tegan and Sara, The Neighbourhood, The Lumineers, The Weeknd, The Killers, Bright Eyes, and Bruno Mars.

Newest Obsession: Ed Sheeran and Bleachers.

I'm at the movies often. I enjoy seeing a lot of different movies but try to avoid the Will Farell type comedies. I like a more witty sense of humor like Juno. My recent favorites include Silver Linings Playbook, Gone Girl, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, American Hustle, Theory of Everything, and Dallas Buyers Club. I also am excited to see Foxcatcher with Steve Carrel playing such a different role than he usually he does.

I eat most things except seafood, mushrooms, and raw tomatoes. I love a good steak, and Italian food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Family/ Friends
2. Daisy, my cat
3. Laughter
4. Internet access
5. Music / Books / Television
6. Concept of time

Everyone knows, we all need food, water, and shelter!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What shows I have recorded on my DVR, a running countdown of something I'm looking forward to (trip to New Zealand & Australia) what the world would be like if everyone was nice, and what movie I'm going to see this weekend.

How amazing my trip to South Africa was this past summer. I have done a lot of traveling, but by far South Africa has been my favorite. It is so scenic and everyone is very nice. I went on a safari, swimming with great white sharks, and on an elephant back safari- it was epic!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
With my great friends: staying in, going out, or catching a movie.

I would like to go on a date!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I had braces twice, but hey my teeth are nice and straight! Also, I love going to the dentist!

You are actually wanting to be in a relationship. Sorry, but I don't really need any more friends. I also don't understand why people go on a site with 'Cupid' in the title looking for friendship.

I want to actually go out on dates. Not just hangouts and hook ups. I want to go out with someone (if I'm interested) multiple times and get to know a person before rushing into anything.

Please do not message me if you have children, I'm not up for that at this time. However, I do love kids and would like to be with someone who does want kids eventually.

My number one deal breaker is smoking. I like to live in a smoke free environment.
