My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, I guess! Nice to maybe meet you. <3

A good day to me is waking up early-ish, playing some old school Nintendo (DKC for life), then heading out on the town for coffee and window shopping. I'm game for quiet nights in and wild nights out (b-but not too wild since woah uh last summer was rough). I like hittin' the beach or going on nature walks, too!

I like people who are deep thinkers, who argue because they're passionate about something, not because they want to feel smart or because they're bored. I love random deep conversations as much as I love ridiculous and silly conversations. Either way, I crave substance in my socializing, but I don't wanna be serious all the time. I am a goof.

I'm a non-binary lady, aka if you have any assumptions about what me being a lady means, chuck 'em! I'm just a me, and like being treated as such. I am super not into supplementing your masculinity, so if you're masc and looking for a femme side kick, keep movin', junior.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Nothing exciting, I'm afraid, at least for now! Mostly I'm just taking care of myself after a particularly rough few years. I'm feeling ready to come out of my shell, though, and I'm at least interested in making some new, solid friendships. If something more intimate than that happens (be it romantic or platonic), I'm open to seeing where it goes.

In the future, I'm hoping to the social sector. Probably to do with health. Who knows. Alternately I'd be up for overthrowing bourgeoisie scum and distributing their resources to my proletariat brethren. We'll see how it goes.

I guess I also write supernatural historical fiction about gay vampires and grumpy ghost hunters a lot??? That is also a thing I do. I am a professional nerd and shitlord, after all.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hugging and snuggling! Dancing poorly but giving zero fucks! Using exclamation marks! Improvising! Finding the clitoris! Making weird faces! Portmanteaus! Making terrible puns! Cheering people up! Listening! Singing loudly! Gushing over cute kitties! Turn-based RPGs! Sneaking and sniping bandits in Skyrim! Saying absolutely ridiculous things with a straight face! Scaring people on the bus! Setting things on fire while cooking!

If we're talking actual skills, then I guess you could say I'm a jack-of-all-trades, master of none (although I won't lie: my baking is fantastic). I dabble in a lot of things, and I'm always eager to experience new stuff.

Also I guess I know all the words to the Pokemon theme song, if you're into that?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Apparently I'm super adorable and endearing?? This is terrible, since I want to be a big scary badass, and the fact people see me more as a gushy teddy displeases me.

On the flipside, some folks find me a bit prickly, but I promise it's just because I'm shy and totally freaking out! I-I'm working on it, promise.

I don't really read a lot of fiction? I prefer to write my own, even if it's bad. I recently read the first two books in the Johannes Cabal series, and while I was irritated with the ableism and persistent White British Dude Narration, it was overall really funny and pretty close to the sort of thing I'd write myself. Just, you know. Without the ableism and manpain.

As for TV, Doctor Who, pre-Moffat takeover. Adventure Time and My Little Pony are also great!

I love old musicals and campy 80s movies. I also dig really, really old horror flicks. I'd love new ones, but I get too freaked out from the gore (maybe you can protect me so I can watch some? Hehehe~). There is also a special place in my heart for so-bad-they're-awful movies, like The Room or Cool as Ice. Studio Ghibli movies are the best; Kiki and Whisper never fail to make me cry. ;'(

I have an eclectic taste in music, AKA so long as it isn't acoustic covers or pretty boys telling me I don't realize how pretty I am, I will probably be down with what you listen to.

I like all the food. My goal is to one day eat my way through Europe, and MAYBE Asia, if I can brave meeting scary spiders.

Classic Nintendo is my life, yo. I am also a little addicted to Skyrim, and have a fondness for cheesy JRPGs. Horror games are the coolest! I have a lot of feelings about Castlevania SOTN and Final Fantasy 9. A lot of feelings.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Cuddles from people I want to cuddle, tasty food, a good bra, my hands, the ability to communicate, and the oxford comma.

I can do without capital letters and proper grammar, though.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If there are spiders hiding in my pillowcase, what makes platformers so addicting, fake people (aka characters), labels, my own inadequacies, etc.

Also food, and how I can many puns I can sneak into everyday conversation.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably gaming, aka crying about why the dice gods have forsaken me so.

Oh, wait, was this supposed to be where I made you wanna get in on my plans? Shiiiiiiit I done goofed
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
One day I will probably go into debt from buying too much fabric and make up. *sob*

At the end of the day, I really don't care if we like the same movies or have the same hobbies! What I'm really looking for is someone who shares my values, and who is respectful. If you truly value things like consent, compassion, empathy, forgiveness, and self-awareness, we'll probably get along just fine. ...also if you can deal with me ranting about fake people a lot because I do that. A lot. You'll be better off if you also care a lot about fake people.

We could have the exact same taste in everything else, but if you don't share at least most of my core values I'm not too interested in meeting up.
