My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a Berkeley girl who finished college in Boston in 2011 (English major, Theater minor). Now I'm marketing for a tech startup, acting, singing, and grocery shopping. It's exciting stuff.
I love my alone time, reading and watching TV, but I also love a big party or crowded karaoke night... I'm an actor and singer (and sort of playwright), but dancing at parties is as expert as I get in that department (no jazz hands on my resume). I like parentheses. I am a huge sci-fi TV nerd, and I love really dumb action/fantasy movies, especially those quasi-Christian mythology ones - so if you want to talk BSG, Fringe, Hellboy, or Legion, I'm your girl. Don't get me wrong, quality films are great too, but there's something about the "movies" after midnight on the SyFy channel that is so perfect. I love doing odd, adventurous things, like the time I spent a summer in Bulgaria teaching in an orphanage (and i just got back from a 10-week acting apprenticeship). You'll almost definitely find me awake at 2am, because that is unequivocally the best time of the day.

I am caring, theatrical, and independent
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Recovering from a really intense summer theater program and working during the day to make money like normal people. In theater, I love everything from Samuel Beckett to Sarah Ruhl to Punchdrunk to Shakespeare (my first play was an abridged Macbeth when I was six). As for music, I do pop, blues, jazz, musicals, gospel, soul, and little bit of bluegrass.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
karaoke? Figuring out a Halloween costume in 5 minutes (one year I cut some holes in a red and blue striped sweater and put on a brown hat and was pre-burn Freddy Kreuger)? Making things with tofu?
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A cab driver recently said he liked my smile - and no, I don't think he was hitting on me.
My eyes are usually green, but every so often they're blue.
Also, I'm very loud. I think people often hear me before they see me.

you like arguing a mile-a-minute about pop culture... or you're at least okay with the occasional rant from me about, I don't know, the thematic underpinnings of Thor.
If you'll come willingly with me to karaoke, we're good to go.
