Hey there. I'm Emily. I'm brand new to the Dallas area and looking for some fun new adventures!

Just graduated from college (Savannah College of Art and Design) with my B.F.A. in Fibers and I'm moving to Dallas for my new job (yay!).

Hmm. I'm pretty good at quite a few things, but not excellent at just one thing. It sounds like I'm bragging, but I'm not. I've always envied people who have mastered something. Like hand crafted shoes. Or calligraphy. How cool would that be? Like, that girl can't do math to save her life, but have you seen her handwriting?! And then she grows up to be Jessica Hische. (I dont actually know if Jessica Hische is bad at math)

I enjoy some competition whether it be sand volleyball or Super Mario Kart (I'm good at both). I'm good at drawing, painting, making. I'm learning the guitar. I'm decent at water skiing. I can probably give you some competition in darts. In 4th grade I got 3rd place in a demonstration speech making icing roses. I'll leave you with that.

Hm. Probably that I have ink/paint/graphite on my face. I get that a lot actually, but it could be worse.

I think Groundhogs Day is my favorite movie. I like Adam Sandler movies. Spinal Tap. I'll just list a bunch:One Flew over the Cukoos Nest. Legends of the Fall. Elf. Ever After. Home Alone. Grumpy Old Men. Transcendent Man. Rocky I and II. Blue Crush. Mary and Max. That scene in Dinner with Schmucks when Steve Carell shows all of his mouse box scenes. I'm watching a League of Their Own Right now, this movie is awesome.

Workaholics. Portlandia. Jimmy Fallon is the best. David Letterman. Modern Family, New Girl, Parks and Recreation.

I'll be honest, I don't really read much. But I've listened to some pretty bad books on tape in my car lately.

Aaaaand I like food. Italian food, Indian food, Thai food, American food, whateva.

How to spend my time
