My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Ok, take 24 here; I'm keeping it short and sweet. I'm a man who is interested in finding a woman who is smart, creative, liberal, interested in trying new things, new foods, and in visiting new places in search of adventure. Don't make me expand my search to include Ann Arbor!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a website administrator/designer/photographer/videographer for the state of Michigan. I work right downtown and can see the capitol dome out my window. I have an eleven year old daughter who is a very big part of my life, in fact, I'd like to add another adult into the mix. That's why I'm here. ;)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Photography, web design, solving tech (and lately home improvement) issues, and eating tapioca pudding.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I read a lot, but like most adults, I tend not to have a favorite book (or movie) any more than I have a favorite color. I read mostly sci-fi and fantasy, but it's ok, because I have an MA in lit, so I think deep thoughts about them. ;) Actually, it's hard to find good books in those genres as most tend to be fairly shallow. Nonetheless, I keep looking.

I don't listen to a tremendous amount of music, I don't come home and turn the stereo on. That said, I've been listening to the latest album by Modest Mouse, and an old album by St. Germain. That new tune on the radio, Stolen Dance, that's pretty groovy. When I listen to radio, it's either alternative, classic rock, or NPR.

As for foods, I love lots of foods, from sushi, to middle-eastern, to bacon cheeseburgers. I don't like barbecue in general. Meat is not supposed be sweet you sick fucks.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The only one I can think of that actually gives me anxiety when I think about doing without is my daughter. Don't come between papa bear and his cub. He will mess your shit up.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
No one thing in particular, unless it's how duped the majority of people who vote Republican are. Seriously, unless you're a millionaire, you're voting against your own best interests. Who wants to move to New Zealand with me?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my little girl. Sometimes I like to shoot pool with friends. Dinner, a movie and a trip to the bookstore appeals to me as a good date. I like to entertain or go to friends' and be entertained.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I quit smoking last year (I started up again during the stressful days/weeks/months of the divorce after years of being smoke free).

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You somewhat fit the criteria outlined in box one, above.

You should not message me if you're polyamorous. I'm not interested.
