My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I feel like I have lived a pretty crazy life and had a lot of experiences which have made me pretty open to most types of people and walks of life. And although I have learned not to judge books by their cover, its very likely that if you think its wrong to be gay, you enthusiastically support our government's foreign policies, or you are just generally a vanilla person, I am probably not the one for you. *Also... liking big slobbery dogs is prerequisite, because I have one and apparently thats a dealbreaker for some people. That being said...

There is definitely something to getting older, because I have noticed recently that a lot of my tendencies to live life like there is no tomorrow are finally beginning to give way to being more sensible. I still enjoy going out, but lately I prefer to spend my time exploring, learning, and creating. Hoping to meet someone to hang out with who is kind of on the same page. I still want to get out and be active, but not necessarily always at bars or shows. And sure I enjoy Netflix, but I don't want to live my life on the couch. Not that I don't enjoy those things, but I am looking for something a bit more novel at this point.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I manage a bar to pay the bills which takes up a considerable amount of time. When I have time of my own I am pretty active doing one or another of a my ever growing list of hobbies.
-I read and study quite a bit (lots of nonfiction, political, philosophical, psychoanalysis, and plenty of fiction, as well foreign language stuff.)
-Play music (piano, guitar, banjo, etc.),
-I paint.
-Like to do outdoorsy stuff like indoor climbing and going on hikes.
-I work out and do crossfit.
-Take my dog on walks while listening to foreign language tapes, TED Talks, or podcasts.
-I just started Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai this year which has been interesting.
And occasionally... I play video games. Don't judge.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Entertaining myself. I could never work another day in my life and I would never be bored.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Animals, in particular my English mastiff, Hammond.
Musical instruments.
Art supplies.
Hygienic products.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The big picture. Pho when I am hungover. Finishing an album. Synchronicity, coincidence, fate. Going back to school to become a lifetime student. My next tattoo. Political, environmental, and economic shit and how to change it. Crossing America in an RV, sailing the world in a yacht, and eventually settling down in a place of my own with a classy lady that is ok with me having a menagerie.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are smart, driven, creative, talented, logical yet still empathetic, honest, an animal lover. You have a wild side or can at least deal with someone who has one. Interests of your own that you actually pursue, but perhaps wouldn't mind having someone to share them with sometimes. Also, it wouldn't hurt if you were kind of weird, but still able to seamlessly blend into the rest of society when necessary.
