I’m a cheery, cheeky, creative guy who is generally able to find the humor in most situations (so if you need to laugh, I’m your guy). I’m pretty social, so whether it’s hanging out at a big party or an intimate conversation that lasts long into the night, I’m there. I’m also a nerd, so whether it is a new video game to play or some anime you want to watch, I’m generally there as well. My boon and bane even from a young age is that I have a really wide range of interests and hobbies, which makes it easy to have fun, but hard to figure out what I want to do with my life. However, I believe all problems are ultimately solvable, and I want to help people solve theirs. I also think people are really the most important thing in life. As such, my life goal is to help people in some way, and the startup I’ve co-founded with some friends from college is my first attempt at doing just that.

But while my new job is awesome, it doesn’t give me much chance to meet people. I’ve been pointed to online dating (Thanks FalcoLastname) so that I can find a bright, curious, funny gal to spend time with (whether that’s out on the town or board games on the dining room table).

After graduating college with a degree in comp sci and a minor in Japanese (that I was much more proud of), I found myself lacking any notion of what I wanted to do with my life. After a few years of the rat race in a management role in the finance world, I left to find something in life I was actually passionate about, and am now happily working in a startup with some friends from college.

When I’m not trekking into the city to dine, karaoke or something like that, I’m hanging out with friends or engaging in various forms of nerdly pursuits. I also love the outdoors although I’m by no means a veteran. I’ve sweated through Insanity workouts throughout the winter while waiting for summer to come around so I could play tennis and Frisbee with my friends. I’m always up for a new adventure, especially when it involves making new friends.

Making people laugh, making Thai Green Curry, having long conversations about almost anything, hitting a tennis ball, making a better version of any disappointing movie in my head so I walk out of the theater happy (to be fair, my brother does the same thing too), having deep conversations, gaming, and (oddly enough) shopping.

My sense of humor, and my interest in people (which usually takes the form of asking you for your life story :P)
