What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
To keep it short...... I used to swim professionally, then I quit and went to university. I did a sport science degree and was about to go and start my masters in clinical psychology, when I changed my mind. Partly because I fell sick, but in reality because falling sick made me realise all I've ever wanted to do was act. Cut to a couple of years later when I finally recovered, I started acting.. and that's where I am now!

So I spend my days filming or auditioning, or.... right in this very moment, working a lot of hours in my day job to save up. I'm very flexible and have a lot of different areas of my life I focus on depending on what's happening at that time. Acting, writing, travelling, charity work and spirituality are where my energy is most of the time. I basically want to do everything and go everywhere but am yet to find a way of being an octopus.

I'm not someone who needs to be in a relationship; I'm very independent and like to keep it that way even when I'm involved. Similarly I'm only interested in a partner who is in the same mind set - I've had far too many relationships where I have had to "fix" them, or they've "needed" me in order for them to be happy. That is the role I play in most friendships I have, and so I have learnt that in my romantic relationship, I very much need it to be equal. I believe love is about helping each other grow, not preventing it. :)

Mostly right now I am feeling the need to meet more driven and creative people, as working in my day job doesn't half lack intellectual or inspiring conversation; if you are capable of talking about something more than how wasted you got last night, we're on the right track! ;)

I have far too many favourite films to even begin. They tend to usually be based on a true story, or have a storyline which has the ability to inspire in some way; I love films which stand for something. But that doesn't mean I don't love an easy watch every now and then. Notting Hill being a (not so) secret guilty pleasure. ;)

I should probably also note here that in real life I am far less serious than this makes me sound. I mean.. the complete opposite. I pretty much never stop laughing. I just think it makes sense to be honest on here about who we are and what's important to us, so that we can meet people we'd connect with- is that not what we're all here for?
