My Self-Summary

I'm a recent college grad from Penn State University and just moved down to the Virginia area. I'm a pretty laid back guy but knows what he wants in life and has no problem trying to obtain it. I've been told I'm a pretty easy guy to get along with and I'm a very loyal friend. I try to take time to enjoy the little things in life, like laying in the grass on a warm summer day, or stopping to build a random snowman.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently working for a contractor who works with the Department of Homeland Security. I enjoy going up to State College, PA to hang out with some of my old college friends, and occasionally going home to Pittsburgh to see my family and more old friends. On the weekends I stay in NoVA, I've taken to exploring the area and meeting up with some friends I haven't seen in a very long time.

Listening. I also think I'm pretty good at taking time to enjoy everything around me. Life is all about enjoying the little things.

The first things people usually notice about me

I hear they usually notice my smile. I'm a very friendly person and willing to talk to anyone. I'm usually the person to catch someone's eye first walking past them, smile and say hello.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love anything with a good story. I like Sci-Fi and Fantasy books for the most part, and I will watch any kind of movie. I love watching movies anything from a Horror to Drama to an Action or Mystery movie. It really doesn't even have to be in a movie, I love books, comics, music, or even video games with a good story behind them.

I prefer rock, alternative, indie, classical...pretty much anything but hip-hop and rap. Some of my favorite bands range from The Clarks, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Amber Pacific, Boys Like Girls, and The Classic Crime to Linkin Park, Harry Chapin, Disturbed, Blink 182, Plain White Ts, and the Beatles. I've got a very wide musical taste.

Foodwise, I'm not picky I will try anything for the most part that isn't still living, has tentacles or comes from an insect. I love pizza, chinese food, chili, stew, burritos, and of course, beer.

It's tough to say, I'm not very hard-pressed to get along with any of these things...

Everything, really. Mostly the future. Doesn't serve to dwell in the past, you can't go back, only forward. Carpe Diem.

On a typical Friday night I am

If I was still in college, I would be out at the bars with my friends, but now I can enjoy a nice night reading a book or watching a movie. I love going out and meeting people, but it's more fun to go with friends. I love going out and hearing local bands at Penn State drinking a few cold ones with some friends. I'm still looking for something to occupy my time on the weekends here in Virginia.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Nothing comes this easy, everyone has skeletons in their closets, you'll just have to get to know me in order to know mine.
