My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a young professional living in the St. Louis area who is currently trying to fit himself into a box on a website. I currently work as a Security Analyst at Mastercard, I own my own home on the Hill in St. Louis. Looking to find a great person to spend time with.

I'm a self-described geek, and while that's an important piece of my personality, I have a lot more going on than that. I try to live a pretty well rounded life. I like to get outside when the weather's nice. I try to travel outside the state at least once a year (I've been to Holland, England, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, and Japan to name a few). I stay relatively healthy and get to the gym a few times a week. I spend a lot of time with friends checking out the various festivals, conventions, and museums in the city. I also try to spend time with the family, and generally attempt to be a good role model for my younger sisters.

I'd describe myself as a goofball with a romantic streak. I try to make the best of most situations. I love making people laugh, sometimes at my own expense. I love a good story, and I read like it's going out of style. I also write when the mood strikes, mostly for a creative outlet. I'm always looking for something new to learn. I'll go onto YouTube and watch a TED talk, then lose track of 3 hours watching every related video that comes up.

I guess that'll have to do for now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working as a Security Analyst at MasterCard. It's a challenging job with lots of opportunities, and there's rarely a day that's boring.

Some current going-ons...goings on? Things that are happening in my life right now

- I have planned a magnificent road trip to the Pacific Midwest. You should check it out:
- Made a goal to read 36 books this year (that I haven't already read). I'm at 16 (Currently Reading a Dresden Files book and "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell)
- Have started joining meetup groups including St. Louis Writers, Urban Explorers, Sci-Fi and Fantasy, and Young Professionals. We'll see how this goes.
- Saturday Kickball

More bulletins as events warrant.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm good at writing, I'm good at singing, I'm good at making people laugh. I'm good at saving money, I'm good at thinking big, and I'm good at coming up with lists about what I'm good at.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
You'll have to tell me. I'd like to think it's my soulful eyes and dashing smile.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lots of random things run around in my head at any given moment. What am I doing this weekend? What country do I want to visit next? I wonder how easy it would be to learn how to juggle knives? What's the number for the emergency room?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I could be doing anything. I could be on call and stuck at home, I could be out singing Karaoke, I could be out exploring St. Louis, I could be out of the state, I could be out of the country, I could be out of my mind.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was raised by a single mother, and I turned out pretty brilliant

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
- You aren't looking for someone who is religious. I can be spiritual, but I won't be religious.
- You have never said anything akin to "Reading is boring/I don't like to read". Those statements make me a sad panda.
- You approve of nerdy/geeky types and/or are one yourself
- You consider yourself a fun, intelligent, curious, or otherwise engaging individual and would like to meet someone similar.
- You are Tina Fey

That last one is obviously a joke. Tina Fey isn't on this website, right Tina? Message me if I'm right. Your husband doesn't have to know.
