My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I can't help but be self-deprecating in an alarmingly unflattering manner when it comes to these things. Or at the very least intentionally vague and unhelpful (Example: I am human, male, dreadfully average). The way I justify is by telling myself that those behaviors hint at the outline of a personality.

I am cynical, flippant, and mostly water.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Turning it around and finding my way. I was lost for a big chunk of my life, but now I have a better idea of what I'm doing with it. I moved here from Colorado in an effort to improve my life. So far, so good.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Ineffectively evading questions with weak attempts at humor and pretending to be indifferent. I'm also adept at geeking the heck out on a variety of subjects.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a white spot on the back of my head due to a childhood injury. Some people notice that I have exactly zero tattoos. This is something I feel I should fix.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: All things Vonnegut, Tom Robbins and Alan Moore. Well, most things Alan Moore.

Movies: The 80s were a great period for sci-fi movies. Other than Blade Runner and Aliens...and now all I can think about is District 9.

Come to think of it, one of the things I've said before and still stand by is "If someone really wants to know what kind of music I like, I guess they'll just have to get to know me." Modify and apply to this section as needed.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My dog, she is the best Corgi mix mutt a guy could hope for.

My laptop, window to the world and mark of economic well-being.

My travel mug, keeps me sane and fueled.

30 Rock, most of my friends identify with Liz Lemon, but I have a man-crush on Jack Donaghy.

A bag of assorted tools, because you never know when you need Torx drivers. (It turns out to be not that often)

A warped sense of humor, otherwise I just couldn't even deal with the nightly news.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I should be doing something creative as opposed to vegging it up on the couch.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Grateful for my week to be over and sitting around plotting an increase in my beer intake.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've never seen Citizen Kane and I've never read Pride and Prejudice.
