I can't help but be self-deprecating in an alarmingly unflattering manner when it comes to these things. Or at the very least intentionally vague and unhelpful (Example: I am human, male, dreadfully average). The way I justify is by telling myself that those behaviors hint at the outline of a personality.

Movies: The 80s were a great period for sci-fi movies. Other than Blade Runner and Aliens...and now all I can think about is District 9.

Come to think of it, one of the things I've said before and still stand by is "If someone really wants to know what kind of music I like, I guess they'll just have to get to know me." Modify and apply to this section as needed.
