My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I really believe it is possible to grow, evolve and continue to learn as we age, though many people just walk on a constantly narrowing Path, becoming less open and more rigid in their beliefs, bodies and emotional reactions. All too often, those in middle age no longer have a body they enjoy, because of neglect, overindulgence or abuse.
I have paid attention to the lessons life has taught me, without losing my sense of joy in what is possible. (I will admit to a wicked sense of humor).....
I am strong, healthy, emotionally intelligent, independent and Conscious, and would value meeting a man with these same qualities who could value them in me without feeling threatened or needing “to compete”.
I would really enjoy meeting a man who still enjoys the pleasures of all his senses. Who has come to realize that each day we have, at this stage in our lives, is a gift to be enjoyed. A man who still understands the concept of spontaneous play, and who is still healthy enough in mind, body and spirit to be able to play with abandon.
Obviously this means someone who still ENJOYS being very active, (my favorites are freestyle dancing, yoga, hiking out in nature, bicycling and exchanging bodywork sessions. I dance, freestyle 3-4 times a week, my own very active synthesis of contact improv, Tai Chi, yoga and ballet.
Though I don’t necessarily need to find another dancer (though that would be nice) I DO need a man who still can move his body well.
I have two businesses of my own….I do Acupressure, and have a holistic health practice; I also work as a professional art licensor, selling my paintings internationally for use in fabric, puzzles, prints and other products. I work a lot, but still enjoy what I do. My free time is very valuable to me so I choose to truly enjoy what I do, which doesn’t include sitting around watching TV.
It would be an extra bonus for me to meet someone in the alternative health care field, or who at least has knowledge or interest in this area or in some form of Conscious movement (yoga, any martial art, contact improv, conscious dance)...
PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ME if you are under 50, have any established religious affiliations (except perhaps Buddhist), are overweight, or in any way conservative. I WILL NOT WRITE BACK.
I AM open to relocating to a smaller city, particularly if it is coastal.
What I’m doing with my life

I'm a professional artist, as well as a Holistic Health Practitioner. I do freestyle dance, tai chi, yoga, read, hike, bicycle, study herbs and talk and visit with friends or family, love to cook healthy and interesting food, and care for my plants.

both "left and right" brain thinking, touching, dancing and moving; art, cooking, helping people maintain/understand their health, raising plants, tuning in to humans, getting into my body and having fun!
