Sorry, thats pretty much my view on life at the moment! As if you haven't guessed i am completely round the twist. any one remember that kids tv programme? sorry, i digress! im mad, crazy, insane (do you get the feeling that im bananas!). i live life by my standards and try not to let others influence me.

Im an engineer by profession, hobby and dreams. Anything mechanical - i love it! if it's steam powered then all the better. i am never happier than when working on one of my steam locomotives, my boyfriends cars or my motorbike, and the more oil, grease, coal dust i am covered in the bigger my smile (if it can still be seen under all the muck!).

Yet i also love nothing better than to settle down in front of the tv with some embroidery, cross stich, or tapestry. i also spend a fair bit of time reading books, i really love Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, G K Chesterton, E M Forster and others, but im equally likely to be found reading Hitch hiker's guide to the Galaxy, or a good Jack Higgins or Dean Koontz. As you can see i am a complete mixture.

I also have six rats, who i love to bits, despite the nibbled curtains! If I need to relax I like nothing more than to go into their room and listen to the Goons or some music, do some puzzles and let them run around all over me.

i believe that stereotypes are there to be shattered and have never done anything because thats what girls are supposed to do.

Trying to sort it out at the moment!

Building a lot (too many?!) steam locomotives, designing another (from scratch), restoring my classic 1969 BSA Bantam motorbike as well as my 1972 Hillman Imp, and trying to sort my first house out. New kitchen, redecorate, build workshop etc!

With all that i just about have enough time for eating sleeping and going to work!

movies:the older the better, although some modern ones aren't too bad. i also love independant and non hollywood (especially French) films
music: i do love a good pop song from the 1590s!

The future and what i'm going to do with it. How I can be more green and kinder to the environment. How best to help other people that need it. And how much money I need to survive, and so how much I can give away.

Usually travelling back to my parents as I'm probably playing trains, or volunteering at Kew Bridge Steam Museum (KBSM)

That i suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and depression, and have done since i was eight. I've been on anti-depressants for the last few years, and i'm only just beggining to enjoy life so im determined to make the most of it
