The year before last I went travelling, which was fantastic, I visited new places, met new people and discovered new things about myself - everything you are meant to do. Then I came back to England, and having nowhere to live moved back in with my mother. After a few months of going slowly insane I moved away, almost entirely speculatively, to Sheffield, a city I had visited once before and quite liked. I'm now an assistant manager at one of the best pubs in the city and thoroughly enjoying life.
So here I am, a relative newcomer to this rather smashing city, and I find that my social circle is rather limited. I have some friends through work, and a few friends amongst their friends, but somehow that doesn't seem enough.
So. What can I offer you, the reader, as incentive to contact me? Well, I'm an excellent cook (if I do say so myself), so there may be cake or maybe even biscuits in the offing. Also I am willing to trade all purple flavour skittles for your green ones. I can promise hours of (potentially) witty conversation, discourse on books and politics, someone to go and see gigs with, go to the cinema or theatre with, or just hang around watch a dvd and drink copious amounts of wine with.
I don't know if this site will provide me with the love of my life, though obviously it would be fantastic if that did happen, but if any of that sounds like it might be fun then send me an email. Whether there is chemistry between us or not it would still be great to meet new people and make new friends.
