I'm spontaneous, warm, I have lots to say and I make people laugh. I'm half Italian and that half can cook.

I like good conversation, mindless banter and people who surprise me. I have a degree in Philosophy which means I'm qualified in lively debate. My favourite philosopher is either Bertrand Russell or Billy Connolly.

I've just got back to London after working in New York and then in Europe for a while so I'm readjusting to actually being at home and sleeping in my own bed.

I work as a consultant. Any assumptions you might make about me based on that occupation are probably wrong.

I struggle with picking favourite anything because it depends what mood I'm in. Having resisted buying a kindle for ages as I didn't want to be responsible for the death of books, I got a kindle for Christmas and I love it. I've caught up on lots of books I've been meaning to read for a while like the Dragon Tattoo trilogy and I've just started on the Game of Thrones books which I love.

I've also read the Fifty Shades books. They are utter rubbish but I loved them. Nothing wrong with a bit of sexy escapism. I love Mobster films especially the Godfather part I and II.

My guilty pleasure is karaoke but I rarely find people who will indulge in this past time with me, which is fair enough and probably for the best. It really ought not to be encouraged.

I'm a big fan of people who aren't afraid to admit that they aren't very cool.

The last 5 things I listened to on my Ipod are Clare de Lune, Florence and the Machine, The Killers, the Rolling Stones and Jay-Z.

I am a real foodie and I love to try new places and foods and to cook. I like variety but my favourites are probably Italian and Japanese.
