My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey yall, I'm a weird native Houstonian with a lot of strange life experiences under my belt. I graduated from HSPVA out in Montrose (during which I played at the Grammys), and recently completed a full stint with the Brubeck Institute Fellowship Program out in Stockton, California. Currently, I am working part-time and am at school full-time with UH.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
As of now, I am doing 15 credit hours at UH main campus in the undergrad program at the Bauer school of business. I also work anywhere between 15-24 hours a week at Auntie Anne's Pretzel's at the Houston Galleria and am proud of it!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing music and focusing my attention on one thing at a if you ask me to do more than one thing at once, I will warn you now: none of those things will be done well :-)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I have no filter...and that I usually have good advice...

Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies - Any films by David Lynch, Ridley Scott, Don Bluth, the Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, or Hayao movies based off of Stephen King works; any movie that stars Clint Eastwood, Peter Sellers, Peter Weller, Audrey Hepburn, or Daniel Day Lewis. Individual movies outside of that include La Femme Nikita (The FRENCH version), 300, Leon: The Professional, Noi the Albino, The French Connection (with Gene Hackman), Jackass, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, BOTH the US and Swedish Millennium Series, Star Wars (The ORIGINAL Trilogy), Metropolis (both the original silent film and the anime), Ghost In The Shell, Akira, Dazed and Confused, Genocyber, Highlander, Star Trek, a strange fascination for those terrible movies with Kevin Bacon, and mostly anything sci-fi, horror or surreal that is worth watching, though I tend to hate documentaries. There are probably a bunch I've seen and loved that I can't recall right now, and even out of all of these, Blade Runner is my absolute favorite movie.

Books- Most work by Isaac Asimov, Hunter S. Thompson, Stephen King, Michael Crichton, and HP Lovecraft. I've also dabbled in reading older books, like The Art of War by Sun Tzu, The Republic by Plato, and The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.
Now, if you're talking comic books, then I would be the first to tell you that I am a huge fan of Mike Mignola and Matt Wagner, as well as of Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, and Frank Miller's original works outside of their contributions for DC and Marvel's mainstream continuities, such as Watchmen, Flex Mentallo, or The Dark Knight Returns; though as of right NOW I love Fashion Beast by Alan Moore. Twisted Toyfare Theatre is a rare one to be able to talk about with people too. Honestly though, if you have any suggestions besides the confusing complexity of ongoing mainstream series by Dark Horse, Image, DC, or Marvel comics, then shoot me a message. Again, I am a big fan of Sci-Fi, Horror, or Surreal works.

Shows - The Mighty Boosh, Top Gear (UK), Doctor Who, Bob's Burgers, Archer, Jon Benjamin Has A Van, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, Lucy, Daughter of the Devil, Blood+, Frisky Dingo, The Venture Bros., Hellsing, Robot Chicken, Tosh.O, Jackass, WildBoyz, Futurama, China, IL, Metalocalypse, Fringe, X-Play, Code Monkeys, Beavis and Butthead, Mary Shelley's Frankenhole, Titan Maximum, 12 oz. Mouse, Assy McGee, Tom Goes To The Mayor, The Big O, Clerks, Ghost In The Shell, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, Lupin the 3rd, Trigun, Cheyenne Cinnamon and the Fantabulous Unicorn of Sugar Town Candy Fudge, Princess (by Trey Parker and Matt Stone). Probably more I can't remember...

Music (Artists) - Andrew Hill, Animals as Leaders, Aphex Twin, Autolux, Battles, Beach House, Bibio, Bill Evans, Biosphere, Bjork, Black Flag, The Black Keys, Blackroc, Boards of Canada, Bon Iver, Bonobo, Booker T. & The MGs, Braids, Brian Blade, Caribou, Charles Mingus, Christian Scott, CKY, Claudio Arrau, Close Erase, The Cure, D'Angelo, Daniel Lanois, Discovery, Ennio Morricone, Eric Johnson, Erykah Badu, Esperanza Spalding, Explosions In The Sky, The Fiery Furnaces, Florence and the Machine, Flying Lotus, Friendly Fires, Funkadelic, Global Communication, Gnarls Barkley, Gretchen Parlato, Grimes, Grouper, Henry Mancini, Herbie Hancock, The Horrors, Howling Bells, I Break Horses, James Brown, Janelle Monae, Jeff Buckley, Jem, Jerry Goldsmith, John Coltrane, John Legend, John Mayer Trio, Johnny A., Johnny Cash, Kaki King, Kat Edmonson, Keith Jarrett, Kenny Garrett, King Harvest, Kings of Leon, Kiss, Kito, Koop, Lana Del Rey, Leadbelly, Lennie Tristano, Lift to Experience, Lightning Bolt, Lights, Little Dragon, Matt Stevens, MC5, The Meters, Metronomy, Miles Davis, Monica Zetterlund, Mr. Jenkins, Mute Math, Muthspiel/Blade, Nadja, The National, Nicola Hitchcock, Nicolay, Ornette Coleman, Pat Metheny, Pete Yorn, Peter Gabriel, Phantogram, Pink and Brown, Prince, Purity Ring, Pyramids, Queen, Ravi Shankar, Roisin Murphy, Rufus Wainwright, Sade, Sam Rivers, Sarah Jaffe, The Shaggs, Sleeping States, Sleigh Bells, St. Vincent, Stan Getz, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Stina Nordenstam, Sufjan Stevens, Tony Williams, tUne-YarDs, Twin Sister, Vaccine, Washed Out, The Who, Willie Nelson, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, ZZ Top
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Guns, alcohol, music, drawing, conversations, and tea/coffee, though strong and black. Not necessarily in that order...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Music, work, my future, guns, and alcohol.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working. I haven't had a friday night free in months! Though if you want to hang and talk, just hit me up and I'll see if I can make time for you.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably that I am bi. I don't really tell a lot of people.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you want to hang/chill out. I'm also cool with just fooling around!
