Hard worker, love music/live music. The eighties are my favorite, or give me anything that makes me dance please, I do believe that is my specialty. I love to dance, but what girl doesn't, right? But to kickass music, some good funky Nola beats, some pop eighties, Hall & Oates is always a good one there. I'm into all kinds of music except for country. Old country I can do all day. I love to travel and see music, or a cabin in the woods is always a good treat. My work schedule is M-F, occasional weekends, so I love to really get down on the weekends or chill, whatever the mood. I love Memphis in the Springtime, outdoor festivals, gathering of friends. Summer is a good time too, always something going on. I love to walk and workout when I can and when I need to. I have 3 dogs that I adore and a porch cat I have adopted that has gradually made it's way to my pillow. I am more of a dog person though, love the personalities of my 3 furbabies. Painting is another thing I like to do, gardening, video games, reading too. Damn I sound so boring. All of these things I love to do I believe I probably do better that normal people bc there is always a sound track involved. A musical journey for the soul. I do believe that.

I have an awesome job. Don't want to go into too much detail, but I do dabble in the live music & entertainment world mixed with the accounting world.

Cooking! Cooking therapy is what I call it. Musical trivia, love love love trivia, especially music trivia! Dancing... it's always a good time. And I'm really good at laughing, surrounding myself with funny people is a must.

I like David Sedaris books a lot. I do try to ready as often as I can but it also makes me really sleepy. Funny is always good, and so are suspenseful books as well. And true life murder mysteries and biographies will do. I've ready some Kurt Vonnegut books that I really enjoy, actually some of them I'm still reading....it's been a couple of years.
As far as movies, I love Robert Altman films. Shortcuts is my all time favorite movie. I LOVE movies, and I really love badass movies that just blow my mind. Just say Django Unchained, that was a good movie. For some reason, ever since I saw Pulp Fiction in the theater, I have to see all Quintin Tarantino movies the day they come out, in the theater. Some weird ritual I have. Same with Star Wars too.
Shows...here we go. At this present time, there are way too many "shows" on TV. I watch so much crap sometimes. Let's see, at the present moment in time, I am into American Horror Story, The Office, Modern Family, Mad Men, I LOVE Homeland, Nurse Jackie, The Walking Dead, Six Feet Under is one of my all time favorite shows ever, watched Lost, 30 Rock LOVE, Parks & Recreation LOVE, Up All Night, Always Sunny, 48 Hours Mystery, anything murder mystery, Family Guy, South Park, Seinfeld reruns, Comedy Central, this list could go on and on .forever.
Music...I'm going to try and make this short and sweet. I love all kinds of music. I love listening to new music. Currently i am listening to and going to see live and have seen live in the past year: Phish, Radiohead, MMJ, Funky Meters,.... I love to cook to Nina Simone pandora radio. I also love NOLA Funk, the funkier the better. I like to chill to Charlie Hunter and I also love the eighties. Anything to make my hips wiggle is a winner for me....unless it crappy electronic bullshit or boring emo crap.
And food...I love food. I love to cook food more than eat it though. My favorite dish to whip up is a badass mac & cheese...baked with fresh spinach, at least 4 different cheese and a dash of cayenne pepper. Hits the spot every time. Mexican food is one of my favorites but I try not to eat it bc it's way too easy to indulge...Japanese is always good, and really any seafood, and good catfish. Raelly what it comes down to for me is fresh, good, and healthy.

Happiness.....and laughing..... feels good.

Majority of my Friday nights consist of cooking in my kitchen with good tunes and some cocktails/cold beer/wine. Cooking therapy, then on to my couch for a movie/tv, and hopefully in bed by one to enjoy a full Saturday. Occasionally I go out on Friday night in the event that it was a crazy week at work, a friends Birthday, or some good Grizz or Tiger basketball on. Or football. Just depends on what's going on and how much money is in the bank.

Kenny Rogers at the Mid South Coliseum was my first concert in Kindergarten. I wore a button to class the next day that said "I spent the night with Kenny Rogers", I still have the button somewhere.
