My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm still not sure what sort of person I am, so I'm afraid I can't do a very good job of explaining it to you. I try to act very mature when I absolutely have to and am stunningly immature most of the rest of the time. I go to a lot of nerdy conventions because I enjoy the energy of crowds and activity and meeting new people. Despite that, I do know that I'm an introvert; I enjoy time alone, and interacting with people gets tiring after awhile.

I fail a lot. I think it's okay to fail, as long as I learn something from it, and do better next time. The important thing is to keep trying.

I am not an intellectual. I tried to be for a long time because I have a lot of respect for intellectualism, but it's not for me. I'm an administrator at best, a technician at worst, and I'm fine with that. These things are also useful.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working and playing. I work full time in an operations center for a major tech company. In my free time, I drift around the internet, read books, play video games, play tabletop games, and exercise (Less than I should but more than I enjoy). Lately, I've been playing a lot of MTG. I spend more time looking at fanart of Steven Universe than I probably should.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making atrociously bad puns.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I talk, I'm loud. When I move, it's in odd ways. I laugh often at things that aren't quite funny enough to justify it. I've been described by multiple people as acting like a cartoon character.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Computer
2. Internet
3. Water (And not just for the whole living thing, I seriously drink a ridiculous amount of water, and soda or juice won't do.)
4. Things to learn
5. My vision
6. Independence
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Technology, sustainability, scalability, how systems interact to form more complex systems, and whatever video games I happen to be playing lately.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing Magic The Gathering. Or gathered together with friends slightly sad that I missed Friday Night Magic again. Sometimes both.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can't remember the last time I really cried, and I think that's kind of a sad thing.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You know that being an adult doesn't mean you have to be uptight or boring, and you know that not being uptight or boring doesn't mean you have to be irresponsible. Being able to parse that grammatical abomination of a sentence is optional.

You shamelessly watch cartoons.
