Before I start writing about myself, all I am going to say is: "I LOVE PHILOSOPHY!" ^__^ (and intellectual conversations, psychology) ok I'm going to start now! >.^

A lot of people tend to just “ignore” my profile once they click on it, based on the SOLE reason that I do not have any “human” photos uploaded. For those that are curious why, here is my reasoning:
I have had too many people in the past decide to message me saying: “Yoo you’re hawwttt!!!” and it got REALLY annoying, because then they will ask me the simple questions of “yo what u leik 2 do 4 fun?” Well…these people apparently did not read my profile…I chose not to upload pictures of myself, because I want people to read my profile and like me for who I am, rather than for my “hawtt pics”. On the other hand, once people DO begin talking with me, I am more than happy to send a picture or two from my Myspace. =)
Also, because I do not want people to talk to me because of my look. I want people to like me for my ideals on life and my thoughts on philosophy.
For those of you who are interested in philosophy and new thoughts on life, I would love to hear from you sometime! =)

-For fun, I like to hang out with my friends, read and write, and especially study and learn psychology and philosophy. I absolutely LOVE and live for intellectual conversations with people, and anything deep, creative, and logical. If you’re into the same interests as me, please do not hesitate to send me a message, because I would definitely like to talk with you sometime then! =D
-Aside from me being a lover of the mind, I am very aesthetic, and a great admirer of the arts. Whether it be through painting, creating, or dreaming, I find the entire world to be a canvass and we are the artists of the future! =D (It’s one of the greatest gifts of the human mind!)
-I am a very NON-JUDGEMENTAL person. I do not care whether you are a goth, outcast, prep (except if you’re the annoying ones gahh lol), jock, nerd, basketcase…anything else you can think of—I am NOT going to judge you on your outward appearances, but I will rather take the time to get to know you. I’ve learned over the years that you cannot judge someone on these outward appearances, because when you DO get to know them, chances are that he/she will be a much more beautiful person than you ever knew. On the other hand, it could also work in reverse, like in Mean Girls. (Corny example, you can say lol) when Cady wanted to become friends soo badly with the Plastics…well, turned out that they were superficial, and not real friends to begin with.

-I'm actually not bisexual, sorry to disappoint you. =/ At this point in my life, I've come to believe that I am an asexual. This means that I have the capabilities of falling in love with either a male or female, but only based on the mind and personality. I have not been attracted to a person sexually before, and I am not sure whether or not this will change...
As for now, an intimate conversation and being amazing friends is what counts. =D (Or perhaps I haven't met the right person yet?) I am constantly questioning this aspect.
(Also, I am going to say straight up that although I'm asexual, I associate myself to be a lesbian. I had my profile set to "gay" for the longest time, but only a few weeks ago I set it to read as "bisexual" ONLY because I really don't care if either guys or girls message me...after all, if the guys are willing to talk philosophy with me, then what do I have to loose?) ;D lol
But guys, PLEASE DON'T message me if you're only interested in a relationship/dating. There's a good chance I am not interested in you in that way, sorry. =/

I am Platonic, Philosophical, and Honest/trustworthy

I am currently attending college and majoring in Philosophy. I take my life one day at a time, although I DO plan ahead of time to figure out what I am doing with my life. You can just ask if you're still curious to know lol...there's lots that I can talk about.

I am not so sure what I am "really good at." In fact, what IS "good?" My interpretation may be different from another's interpretation, since relativity varies amongst others' points of views...instead, I'll just name what I LIKE to be doing:
Learning psychology and philosophy, deep intellectual conversations, forming new theories, solving math equations (I LOVE math hehe), anything involving creativity and logic, laughing with friends, drawing and painting, smiling, admiring the “little things in life”, dreaming, talking on the phone until 2 AM, having sleepovers with friends, educating others and helping them learn, sharing a smile, and a lot of others to name!

-I’m one of “those people” who is judged very often for her appearance, and many people often get the “wrong impression” from me. For starters, although I dye my hair quite often, this does NOT make me a bad person, and therefore I should not be judged by it. I do not drink nor smoke nor do drugs. I don’t care if other people do, because it’s their personal choice, but I personally would prefer if they did not, because it hurts me to watch a friend of mine do things that will take a toll on their health.
-Something else to know about me: I am a VERY versatile person. That simply does NOT mean that I change myself in front of others at all! It just means that I have a lot of different aspects to my life. I’m that kind of girl that can one day wear all pink and pigtails, depending on my mood, and then the next day wear chains and become gothic, or even nerdy/ghetto (rarely)/scene/whatever while actually remaining true to myself. And for anyone that dares to call me a poser before getting to know me is sorely mistaken—I am who I am and no one can change that. I know that I am being true to myself at all times, because only my friends and I know this, since they took the time to really know who I am, and you should too before you ever judge me. And stereotypes suck, so do not label me.

All right…I’ve come to realize that this isn’t even HALF the music I listen to; basically, I give a lot of credit to ALL artists that make music. I find it amazing on how the time and effort is put into every song and lyric written. And that’s right; if you read closely, my taste in music varies from soft singers like Lara Fabian and Celine Dion, to classic rock like the Beatles and Pink Floyd…but that obviously doesn’t limit me to my other kinds, like screamo (All That Remains, Mindless Self Indulgence) and alternative-rock ;D
I like anything that's original and as long as the musician adds lyrics that can relate to others' lives and can be analyzed. =)

Food: I don't mind. I like to try new things hehe, especially foreign foods.

My views on Relationships…
-Well I can say that I have the capability of being a very passionate person. I want someone that will enjoy spending an evening with me in my backyard on a summer night stargazing with me, counting every star in the sky while holding hands…(music stops playing) Unfortunately, this is probably NOT going to happen anytime soon, as the society that I live in is usually filled with mindless morons that do not appreciate the beauty of life anymore…I know that a lot of people these days tend to want a romantic relationship, but chances are that they cannot handle one. Either the person will cheat on you in the end (yep, people I went out with have cheated on me) or the person lies (biggest flaw of others) or other stupid things are done. Until then, I do not mind at all being single. I just want the right person to walk into my life, and I do not mind to wait, even for an eternity, because the day that perfect person arrives, I will be filled with unconditional love finally. (And trust me when I say this, it IS WORTH THE WAIT!)
-Realistically though, I have NEVER been in love before, nor had a committed relationship, because it is very difficult for me to want to go out with a person. That person truly has to be EXCLUSIVE, and one-of-a-kind. =D

Qualities I look for in Friends…
-The absolute top of the line quality that I look for in every friend is TRUST and HONESTY. Let’s all admit it—we ALL make mistakes at one point or another in friendships, but you should NOT hide the mistake and just admit the wrong-doing to your friend. Because a true friend will understand your mistake, and acknowledge you for it, and chances are will forgive you…on the other hand, if you lie about it, not only is your friend going to get angrier that you lied about it and covered it up, well, that friend now no longer has no more trust in you. So if you’re a pathological liar, please do not talk with me…I’ve already met too many of those people, and do not wish to associate with them at all.
-Although I am a very deep person, yes I DO have a hyper and crazy weird side to me, that usually comes out when I am surrounded by my super close friends. I love to make them laugh and smile. =D

About My Orientation…
-My philosophy on orientations, is "Laissez-faire" (meaning "let it happen".) You can choose to fall in love with whoever, regardess if it's male,female, etc.! =) I don't believe that love is someone who you have to THINK about falling in love with; but rather it should just happen naturally. You'll know when you meet the right person! ;) (I haven't met this person yet lol...I'm still waiting for that lightning to strike me! ^_^)
-Some people like to judge others before they truly know who they are, and I think this is wrong, because regardless of how they are different in any way, shape, or form, they're still people. I know this because I AM one of those who is judged. Just because I am an asexual does not make me any different in the way I should be looked upon than another ordinary girl. People make such a big statement over gays, but to be honest, they're only people. PEOPLE. Gay, straight, bisexual, pansexual; it shouldn't matter what orientation they like. What should matter is who they really are on their insides.

My Appreciation:
Aside from Philosophy and Psychology, I am really fascinated by the arts. I love taking trips to museums, especially the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. I believe that anything, if looked at analytically, is artistic. It’s such a shame when people disregard art as something that’s not meaningful or unappreciated.
-I especially hold a high regard for surrealist art, such as by Salvador Dali. To analyze the art and figure out its meaning and intentions are fascinating! ^.^

Personality Awards from OkCupid
-THIS is random lol. I have no idea why, but they’ve awarded me some quite strange awards which are contrary to my actual personality. For instance, they gave me the award: “More Cocky”. Unless I’m finding out something I do not know, a lot of people DO comment that I am meek, shy, and have not the highest self-esteem…
-Ahh alas this has stemmed to branch out another topic for philosophy. ;) Are ALL humans selfish or self-interested? For instance, suppose Person A were to do community service and help out the fellow man in need—well, it makes HIM feel “good” about himself in the end to know he helped someone else out (he obviously wouldn’t feel as good should he not have helped out). Therefore, is Person A selfish? Doesn’t Person A, who has many friends, feel GOOD about himself when around people he likes?

-OkCupid also has awarded me “Less Independent”. To be honest, I consider myself very independent; by doing things on my own. On the other hand, I much prefer the company of close friends to do things with me. Sharing a new experience with others is great, as there’s always something new for that person to learn. =)
-“More Economically Free”. This one is kind of true; although I am not a capitalist. I do not believe is spending money for the sake of it, but rather if there is something that I absolutely need, I have no problem spending money over it for whatever price it may be. After all, it’s better to have quality for something to keep for a long time, over quantity of something that will be thrown out quickly.

Other random things I think about…
-One of the greatest gifts in life to give a person is a hug. =) They fill the heart with warmth and can make anyone smile. An old quote once states “The perfect gift to give someone is a hug—one size fits all, and you do not mind if it’s returned.”

a.) I've never been romantically involved with anyone before (meaning I never had my first time.)
b.) I have NO DESIRE to be sexually active yet. (And please do NOT think "ohhh well I can make her change!") Just don't. Please don't waste your time.
c.) I'm the kind of girl who has a deep intellectual side, BUT I also have a crazy and random side. When I say this, I mean that I am the type of girl who will burst out laughing (rarely though) in the middle of silence about something that happened five months ago. xD
d.) Inside jokes NEVER get old for me! =) I believe that insiders bring the life into people's smiles...old memories should be kept ALIVE! ^_^
