My self-summary
I'm an aspiring solo performer (no, not a mime) and I've spent many years fighting the good fight at progressive non-profits. When I'm not dismantling the system, nail by nail, by staring into an Excel spreadsheet for 12 hrs, I'm at a coffee shop pumping out a poem or monologue, or exploring the city with my camera. In short, I try to explore and attain perfection through the inner space of a nebulous and fluid humanity... that is when I'm not watching Family Guy. For those goofy enough to laugh at my jokes, they would say I'm a funny guy. I've got my quirks and can get a little excited sometimes, especially during A's games, and playing board games. I have a contemplative side that comes out in my meditation and writing practice. When I'm not exploring the 5th dimension during meditation I'm gorging myself on one of my favorite activities: listening to live music.

You enjoy the silence of an empty beach at sunset; You laugh uncontrollably at my jokes; You love seeing a good play or movie together, then talking about it afterward; You're affectionate; You're overcome by transcendent elation upon receiving surprise gifts.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Fluidity of identity, meaning making, the power of images in the mind, the uncertainty and ambiguity that is the basic nature of existence and how to genetically modify animal crackers. If you can guess what I studied in grad school, you receive the mystery gift.
