My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a young teacher who loves my job and enjoys spending time with friends. I take life seriously. However, I aso enjoy fun and games. I enjoy many activities, ranging from theater and swing dancing to fishing and watching the Minnesota Twins. One interesting fact about my life is that I studied abroad in Kolkata, India while in college. This experience changed my life and made a huge contribution to the person I am today.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I teach high school social studies. I love working with students an helping them to succeed. Someday, I hope to earn at least a master's degree in history, education or museum studies.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I really do not like self-praise, which makes this section difficult. However, I have always been good at academics. That has been a strength throughout my life. Teachers always liked my writing skills enough that I sometimes dream of quitting everything to write a novel.
The first things people usually notice about me

I have no clue why, but people tend to notice my eyes. That and my personality. A few of my friends liken me to Hermione Granger.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love classics. I love novels by Dickens, Austin, the Brontes, Hugo, Dumas and more. As far as movies, shows and music, I enjoy a potpourri of feminine, artsy, dramatic and other styles. Almost anything goes! If this helps, my latest television obsession has been Doctor Who.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My family - My parents and brother are the most important people in my life.
2. Education - I value the education I received and lifelong learning stretching far into the future.
3. Friends - They keep me sane.
4. The Minnesota Twins - I have been a fan my entire life and cannot imagine life without the team.
5. Theater, Dancing and Sewing - These activities help me to relax and serve as my artistic outlet.
6. Books - I read like my life depends on it and would not have it any other way.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
At the moment, I spend a lot of time thinking about how to be the best person and teacher I can be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Is there such thing as a typical Friday night? I have Friday nights filled with friends, Friday nights driving to the Twin Cities to visit my family, quiet Fridays at home and more.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
