My self-summary
Hello, random reader I do not yet know. While I have your attention, please allow me to present this brief advertisement on my own behalf. I would like to say I am the epitome of all things male, but alas there are these silly truth in advertising laws. So coming down from the mountain of perfection, I'd describe myself as someone who tries to find things to laugh and be passionate about. This could also include you dear reader, not that I really want to laugh at you, well unless your profile is that funny, maybe that is laughing with you, since you wrote it.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I'm trying to master life with a beard. Several friends recommended it/convinced me to keep it, so my life has been consumed with learning appropriate beard care techniques. Sorry about the short segue, lets get this commercial back on track. You may care a bit more that I'm going back to school for a Literary Arts degree. I fancy learning how to write. I hope some of the really messed up thoughts lingering in the back of my brain may be interesting to some portion of the world. In the meantime, I have a wonderful job in IT that helps pays the bills, and my tuition.
I’m really good at
Picking out wines. I had two friends get their Sommelier certifications and demanded they complete mind melds and pour their knowledge into my brain. So far, results have been good.
The first things people usually notice about me
At 6'2" and a pretty broad frame, I am the definition of a wallflower. I don't stick out at all and just blend into crowds.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't know about you, but this commercial is getting awfully long. If you have made it this far and have not changed the channel, I may suggest the following movies/books/etc as being of worthy of some attention:

Movies: Fifth Element, Blade Runner, Iron Man (1,2,3)
Books: Dresden Files (Butcher)
Shows: House of Cards, Game of Thrones (really looking forward to the Cosmos reboot)
The six things I could never do without
Lists. Everyone loves lists don't they? Everything is a top XX list.. I blame David Letterman.
I think that's about it, just lists. No one needs silly things like family, friends, oxygen, etc.. just lists.. endless lists.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
When this commercial will end.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing after a very long week of work and school. Going out to a show or grabbing a drink with friends as time permits.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
... Roll Credits... we are done here.
