But I also like being spontaneous and going hiking and being outdoors, going out on random adventures, and traveling. I have been to 49 out of the 50 states and a dozen countries, and I plan on traveling to much more whenever I have the money and time to.
As part of my passion for science I am very attentive to details and normally perceptive when it comes to the people I care about.
Personality wise, I am INTJ/P, for those of you that know/care about that sort of thing. Generally, I am a relaxed, but serious person. Fairly introverted, but still out going. Funny, ambitious, and thoughtful would all be words that my friends have used to describe me.
I am also in the process of getting back into shape after a couple years of inactivity. So far I am 20 lbs toward my goal weight.
My T-shirts, my interactions with strangers start with the words "I like your t-shirt".
For movies, I am kind of all over the map. It's difficult to pick out just a few, but here goes: The Holy Grail, The Princess Bride, Galaxy Quest, Frequently Asked Questions about Time Travel, The Matrix. I also have a soft spot for B horror and scifi movies.
My favorite shows stay pretty much in the Sci Fi family. Star Trek, Doctor Who, X Files, Furturama, Farscape, Stargate etc. Currently, I watch Game of Thrones,Archer, and Big Bang Theory, among others. I do enjoy other genres though.
For me, good music is good music regardless of genre. If you look at my collection there is everything from classic rock to techno. I have a pretty damn large collection of music spanning many decades.
I enjoy food from all over. Particularly Indian, Mexican, and good Chinese. I'm also a fair cook in those cuisines too, or at least the first two.
For video games, I mostly play rpgs like Dragon Age, Fallout, or Elder Scrolls series. A few strategy or platformers games here and there. I very rarely play FPS's, but I make an exception for Borderlands and Bioshock. Generally, I like games that tell a good story.
