I'm a God-fearing man but have my past involving tom-foolery and such. I did manage to stay out of quite a bit of trouble thanks to the grace of God and the influence of a wonderful mother. I am also in a very secular field. It makes me feel distant at times, but it strengthens my faith. It has been a place to gain insight and understanding into the lives non-believers. It seems hard to impossible to really make the most of your life and fuflill your true potentional without having God as a priority.
I enjoy hunting, fishing, and wilderness adventure. I am a huge fan of country/bluegrass music and have played most of my life.
I tend to have a lot of traditional ideas of what a man should strive to be like. Of course, we are not perfect and falter, but we should always try to improve ourselves. A man should be steadfast and dependable in any siutation. He should not be afraid to get his hands dirty. He should put some honest grit into whatever he does. He should know how to use a firearm (it's American Heritage). He should know how to tie a few basic knots, fishing line, and a neck tie. While keeping high disipline in whatever he does, he shouldn't be afraid to be a little silly. And of course, he should read the Bible. ;) Basically, ladies, if a guy puts more energy into his iphone than his character, don't trust him. 0=)
