New to Brooklyn Heights and to online dating. I'm originally from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and have lived in New York for the past eight years. I am a Princeton graduate and typically have fallen for women with a fierce intellect and a shared love of life, learning, and culture. I love the arts (BAM is my new favorite Brooklyn destination) and many of the finer things this city has to offer, but my Southern/Midwestern upbringing has helped me resist becoming a clichéd New York City snob.

I have traveled extensively for both work and pleasure, most recently living in India for two years to help run the Bombay Stock Exchange. While I love what I do for a living, I don't define myself by my work, and I especially admire those women who are passionate about their calling in life, particularly if it is for a greater cause or intellectual pursuit. My friends say I am a "nice guy," perhaps to a fault, but I really do very much value strong friendships and people I can trust.

Full disclosure: I've recently broken up with my girlfriend of four years and am still working through what I want out of my next relationship, but I'm pretty much willing to meet anyone whether it be for friendship or eventually for something more.
