UPDATE 05/16/2013

So I'm officially finished with the military and am living in Sandy UT, no longer a cop, I work in the railroad now...all the live long day... It's not my favorite job but it's good hard work and I've already lost 8 pounds doing it, so I expect to be good and buff come the end of summer. Other than that I've just been enjoying being close to my family and riding my motorcycle EVERYWHERE!

My name is Erik and I'm a cop for the US Air Force. I know it says I'm in Utah, but truth be told I'm actually stationed in North Dakota, but come April I'll be done with the Military and returning back home to Sandy UT. I'm the youngest of 8 kids, 4 brothers and 3 sisters and I couldn't possibly imagine having grown up any other way. If you come from a big family you probably understand, if not, then be jealous because my childhood was awesome! I also have 5 nephews and 11 nieces and they mean the world to me. I've been in the military for almost 6 years now and it's taken me to a lot of interesting places to include England, Germany, and Baghdad. I love trying new things and meeting people, I also tend to be loud and very energetic. It'd be nice to be with someone who can keep up with that.

Right now I'm serving my last year of my enlistment and working on my Associates in Criminal Justice, when I separate I plan on attending the University of Utah and working on a Bachelors in either Psychology, English, Teaching, or Computers.

Well I used to do a lot of Ballroom dancing but that was before I joined the military. I love to sing and although I know that it would never actually take me anywhere professionally I've been told that I have a nice voice. Mostly I just like to good around and make my friends laugh. My prominent eyebrows, they don't bother me at all but some people have a hard time getting used to them. I've also been told on more than one occasion that I look like Leonard from Big Bang Theory (especially with my glasses on). That and I have been told that I have a very genuine smile.

My favorite book of all time is The Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas, aside from that I love Enders Game and all the books that follow in both the Ender series and the Shadow series, The Wheel of Time Series, Sword of Shannara, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Eragon, and many others.

I have a few favorite movies, I love Nightmare Before Christmas and pretty much any other Tim Burton movie, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, What's Up Doc, Clue, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Stardust, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and others that I can't really think of right now.

When it comes to tv it seems that I am destined to always fall in love with the shows that inevitably get cancelled, like Firefly, The Cape, Heroes, Sara Conner Chronicles, Kyle XY, Chuck, Arrested Development and others. I also love Big Bang Theory, Last Man Standing, The Office, Revenge, Once Upon A Time, Psych, Reba, Family Guy, and Community. I'm also willing to admit to being sort of an anime buff, I know it's real geeky but hey, I'm a geek, Naruto and Naruto Shippuden are two of my all time favorite shows.

My Favorite Band is Muse, but my other all time favs are Toad The Wet Sprocket, Barenaked Ladies, Dave Matthews Band, Ben Folds Five, Cake, and Weezer.
