I've been an opera singer, secretary and am now a massage therapist. I have had cancer (cervical) and the main thing I got out of the experience was an unending joy of life. Even when things are tough, if you get to wake up breathing, life is good. As far as relationships and romance go, I am polyamorous and bisexual. I'm silly, funny, serious, argumentative, creative, decent and kind.

I've described my religion/faith as "Christo-Pagan Taoist, with just a touch of Lime".

Right now I'm working on building my massage practice (go to www.livingtreemassage.com for more info on that) and I organize a summer camp for poly people in seattle called Polycamp NW (www.polycamp.org). Our next camp is August 27-30 in Millersylvania State Park (Olympia, WA).

I'm a polyamorous woman, living with one partner and near another in the Lake Forest Park/Bothell area.

Puzzles, logistics, bridge, snuggling, word games, massage, singing, listening, sex, communication....

I thought brown hair, glasses, curvey, feminine. But when I asked my partner he said, "how huggable you are; how I never doubted your sincerity, how safe I feel with you and your touches with your gifted hands".

Hmmm. Instead of books I'll list authors: Heinlein, George M. Fraser, Elizabeth Moon, Mercedes Lackey, Elizabeth Cadell, Rex Stout, Robert B. Parker, Dick Francis, James Thurber, Dorothy Parker, David Webber, etc.

I like the New Yorker, The Smithsonian, I liked George during its short run. The Village Voice and its Seattle equivalent, The Stranger.

I'll go see anything with Clint Eastwood, Pixar Animation, Speilberg, all the Star Wars movies, Star Trek, Firefly -- SHINEY) so not exactly an indy film chick.

Music I was an opera singer but don't listen to much of it anymore. I like pop, jazz, classical, folk (including zeideco & klezmer) and of course, musical theatre. Specific artists include Pink, The Asylum Street Spankers, Sting, Paul Simon, Annie Lennox, Queen, Heart, etc.

Foods: american, mexican, chinese, thai... I'm a pretty plain eater. Favorite food is toast. No, really.

Food, water, sleep, sex, affection, intellectual stimulation.

Relationships, politics, work, family, TV show plots, business, faith, desire, psychology, how to improve my life.

Working, or out with friends, watching TV, or out on a date.

I've never smoked anything, nor taken an illegal substance. And I'm not sorry or curious about either.

You can talk, you can listen, you take yourself lightly and eschew drama.

Silly is a prerequisite.
