My self-summary
Weird title, I know. I know that I am supposed to say something very clever and witty right here, however I prefer to just be myself . It seems that so many folks now days need to be medicated to enjoy or even tolerate life. I prefer to enjoy life without an induced chemical mood change. I do enjoy a couple drinks with friends now and then but not very often.

I enjoy playing and listening to music, watching good shows and movies, going for walks, concerts, garage sales, and a nice dinner or coffee with someone in one of the wonderful little tucked away restaurants around Portland.

If your inclined to want to know more.. don't be shy, just ask me. Im pretty much an open book, easy to talk to and a pretty good listener.
What I’m doing with my life
I enjoy going to music venues, large and small, movies, hiking, the occasional camping in the summer, and just being with friends. I spend time with my grandkids in Battleground, and also quality time with my Mom, who just turned 90 years old and lives also in Battleground also. I typically spend Sundays with her.
My career is winding down and I'm looking forward to my next big adventure in life.
I’m really good at
I've always considered myself a jack of all trades and a master of none. That's the way I was raised. I would have to say that I do have some talent in music, technology, and also am a very good listener.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably the first things people most about me is my smile and my friendly attitude toward everyone. I also have a good ability to convey my feelings and thoughts. Most people can't believe my age, and swear I'm much younger. I guess it's good genes and living healthy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My appetite for reading ranges from a a variety of authors. It's usually the subject matter that attracts me.
I'm a big music fan but not much into rap. But everything from country, rock, classic rock, classical, folk, and about everything else I love.
The six things I could never do without
The things that I could never do without would probably be:
My family
Love and compassion for others
My spiritual beliefs
My memories
My wonderful friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I really want to do when I grow up.
On a typical Friday night I am
A typical Friday night for me could be a movie or get together with friends, or my or perhaps curling up on the couch with my dog at my feet, watching a movie.
