My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a fairly laid-back kind of guy. I tend to be shy in large groups or when I'm around people I don't know too well. I spend most of my time with music playing. I love listening to music of most genres, with the exception of country, mainstream rap, and dub-step. I like to go walking or biking around the neighborhood, just letting my iPod play. I am a nerd and proud of it, though I don't know that's necessarily a good thing. I watch a lot of movies (good and laughably bad) and animation, am an avid gamer, and like to generally hang out and relax.

I have a weird outlook on life. I'm optimistic about my hopes for the world, while being a total cynic regarding people and individual situations. I hate the concept of religion but find talking about religion and beliefs interesting. I'm skeptical towards people claiming to have experienced something supernatural yet fully believe that spiritual interaction is possible. I don't tend to get overly involved in events and I'm not a very social person. I constantly look for things to laugh about, which makes my sense of humor seem a
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, relaxing, and spending time with family and friends.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Procrastinating? Daydreaming? Conceptualizing? Humility? I've got nothing.

I'm really terrible at: extolling my own virtues.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I get more comments about my voice than anything. If my past interactions with people act as any sort of barometer, apparently I have a voice made for radio. I guess that's better than people telling me I have a face for radio.

If we're going by physical appearance, it would have to be that I'm fairly short for a guy.

Too many of each to list, so I just do a brief synopsis.

Books: Anything by PG Wodehouse, Douglas Adams, David Eddings, Terry Pratchett or Neil Gaiman. I love books that make me laugh or smile, though I read a good deal of sci-fi and fantasy.

Movies: Ghostbusters, Big Trouble in Little China, Millennium Actress, Princess Bride, Summer Wars, Amelie, Back to the Future, A Fish Called Wanda, The Indiana Jones trilogy (there wasn't a 4th movie; I refuse to acknowledge it), Roman Holiday, The Thing, Press Start, James Bond films, Repo: the Genetic Opera, Die Hard, Snatch, Rock'n'Rolla, Blues Brothers

Shows: Mystery Science Theater, FLCL, Monty Python, The Critic, Blackadder, Detective Conan, The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Arrested Development, Scrubs, The IT Crowd, Black Books, Spaced, The Thin Blue Line, Detective Conan, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Family Guy

Music: Oasis, Squirrel Nut Zippers, the Pillows, Reel Big Fish, the Beatles, Yoko Kanno, Shael Riley & the Double Ice Backfire, the Grammar Club, the Decemberists, Weezer, MC Frontalot, Optimus Rhyme, Rie fu, Asian Kung-fu Generation, Here Come the Mummies, Jonathon Coulton, Ben Folds, Two Door Cinema Club, Panic at the Disco, Chatmonchy, Flow, Hoovers Ooover, SpecialThanks, Pizzicato Five, They Might be Giants, Cradle Orchestra, Nujabes, Del the Funky Homosapien, Zebrahead, gaming soundtracks, Psychopathic Records.... Basically, most genres except for country and mainstream/gangsta rap. It's kind of embarrassing, but I listen to a great deal of Japanese music.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Oxygen, water, food, shelter, heat, and... too serious?

Family and Friends, cliche though it may be.
Music, Books, Games, humor, and, uh, movies? Is 'family and friends' one or two?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Nonsense, presumably. For all my pseudo-serious demeanor I am usually off in my own world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working until mid-evening, then relaxing the rest of the night. Usually reading, gaming, or watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am ridiculously self-conscious about the scar on my chest from an old surgery.
