Let's list some semi-random facts about me:
-I don't like to dance around issues. If I need to talk about something, I'm going to bring it up without any fanfare. I don't care if nobody else wants to talk about it, if it's important, we're hashing it out.
-I'm rather easily defined as a nerd/geek/whatever. I have a box full of board games (Arkham Horror is a good one, as is Eketorp, for reference), I play Magic (I'm drawing back from it though), lots of fantasy and/or science fiction books, some video game systems collecting dust (unless there is a really good game that just came out), and I like to play some D&D with friends on a Friday night. Kind of covering all of the bases there, aren't I?
-I've been defined as "straight edge without being a dick about it" (I don't drink or smoke), which I took as a compliment; I've never seen the appeal of either, but I try not to insult/judge/condemn those that do since it's their life, not mine.
-I'm rather organized on the whole. I can't stand putting off important things (which is different from saying that I never do so), and try to keep my affairs more or less in order. Not a fan of needless clutter, either physical or otherwise.
-I'm rather terrible at being social since I'm so goddamn picky about who I hang out with. It's actually a bit of a problem.
-I hate being late to anything. I'm the guy that's 20 minutes early to everything, minimum, and I appreciate it when people respect my time in the same way I do theirs.
-I find it easier to make large sections of text in list format (obligatory mention of own writing style in a self-summary completed).
For people who enjoy this sort of thing, according to the Myers Briggs test I'm an ISTJ, and in the Enneagram test I'm a 5w6. I figure that, while tests like these are not 100% spot on, they do get a lot of the broad strokes, so go nuts I guess?!?
