My self-summary
I'm a senior studying chemistry at WSU. I'm very passionate about science and learning. I'll take any chance to get out and travel somewhere, be it downtown or out of state. I like to think that it's easier to make friends and let relationships grow from there, so I'm pretty open to just meeting people and hanging out.
What I’m doing with my life
Working and going to WSU to get a job in nuclear chemistry. I know, sounds pretty boring. I want to do research and eventually teach chemistry.
I’m really good at
Solving puzzles. I love fixing things and figuring out how things work, especially motorcycles. I'm pretty decent with a violin, which I've been playing for 7 years, and I love to play guitar in my free time, despite only picking it up a month ago. I would have to say that the thing I'm best at is learning, which is a little awkward when I also have pretty bad ADD. I also like to think I'm a pretty good cook.
The first things people usually notice about me
Definitely my blue eyes. The next thing is probably regulated fact that I'm a really curious person, and I'm always asking questions.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books are great, I love books! I just wish I could find the time to read. I grew up reading things like The Golden Compass (although The Amber Spyglass is the best in the series, no doubt,) the Inheritance series, Harry Potter, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I think those will always remain my favorites . Jumper was also a great book, and while the movie was totally different, I enjoyed that too.

As for TV, Rick and Morty and Doctor Who are probably the only two I have to mention before you know what I like. But if you say that Matt Smith is your favorite Doctor, there is a good chance that there will be some heated discussion about it. I also love Nitro Circus. More than anything though, I love ridiculous sci-fi adventures like Rick and Morty, Fringe and Firefly.

Music really draws my attention, and if I had the time and the resources, I would love to learn to play the guitar, bass, cello, drums, and whatever I could lay my hands on. I'm really fond of The Killers, Rise Against, Counting Crows, Green Day, and the like. Lately I've discovered how much I love Ed Sheeran, and rediscovering the Goo Goo Dolls and Matchbox Twenty.

I don't watch a lot of movies, but Interstellar, Oblivion and how to train your Dragon have got to be some of my favorites.
The six things I could never do without
Puzzles, music, something to study, something to look forward to, traveling.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My homework. I just wish I would spend as much time doing it as I do thinking about it. I also like to think about all kinds of science and I'm constantly trying to figure out how things work in my head. I also spend a lot of time thinking about how beautiful the world is. I can't help but get out and go hiking every week or two just to see some of it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Homework and a beer after I get home from working on research and my real job.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm very forgetful and I have ADHD, which leads to some very interesting situations.
You should message me if
You want to chat or hang out, especially if you're looking for a new friend in Pullman. Or if you're into chemistry. I love me some chemistry.
