If you can handle a strong, bold, confident, ambitious, good-natured and positive person, then do read on...
I am an all or nothing kind of person, namely when it comes to love. When in a relationship, I either give all my love or none at all. I don't know and don't really want to know how to give any less. When in love, I love intensely and deeply, and I respect and honour my man, and in turn expect nothing less from him.
I like nature and adventure activities, and am a little bit of a thrill-seeker. If it doesn't kill me (and others!), I am willing it to try it; I value the merit of experience, and believe that that's one of the most powerful things that we can achieve in life. I have done bungy jumping and skydiving and would like to do white water rafting, parasailing, scuba diving, jet skiing - that sort of thing. While I do have an adventure streak, I also enjoy quiet and serene nature activities such as bird watching, trekking or just feeding those gorgeous ducks! Ideally, I strive for a balance between the two.
I am quite an artsy person - from writing to painting to modelling to music to creative thinking. Deep down, I am an artist!
Philosophy and psychology have been life-long interests. I like spending my time thinking about stuff that truly matter. These include God, veganism, world problems and solutions, samadhi / supreme enlightenment, compassion, self improvement and the like. I pray and meditate. Two of my life passions are God and veganism. (** Refer to my explanation at the bottom).
I do watch movies (love comedies!) and I love to travel although I haven't been to many countries yet!
I like to laugh and sometimes laugh for no apparent reason (to an onlooker!). And yet, laughter itself should be good enough a reason to laugh, if that makes any sense :) Life is too short to be miserable, so let's be happy while we're here. :)
** I would like to clarify that when I say I have a strong belief in God, it is not blind faith, but rather, my belief is based on direct and personal experiences. While I am a practising Hindu in most ways, I see myself as an authentic person (which is another trait that I seek for in my life partner), in the sense that I do something because I see that it is the right way to do it, not because a religious book or God asked me to. I respect religions and religious wisdom, but I am more in tune with God through my inner experiences, not through outward religious books that were written by others. So, this may answer those questions about how I could be a Hindu and a vegan i.e. not condone the dairy industry despite Krishna who (supposedly) drank milk when He was in his human body on earth; I was not around then so I feel that speculations are not constructive. I would rather rely on my intellect, ethics, compassion and love; I need not a God outside to tell me what is compassion or how to behave in an ethical manner because the God inside me (just like the God inside you) can distinguish right from wrong.
