My self-summary
Student of life. Laughs loudly. Highly independent. Aggressively passive. Addicted to tattoos. Obsesses easily and deeply. Has a passion for fashion and design. Longs for bygone eras that I've never lived in, only dreamed about. Yea, a Dreamer.

Progressive Liberal. Humans suck, but I still want what is best for them.

I love languages and world religions and cultures. I want to learn a dozen languages, and travel to every country that I can. I'm a little obsessed with different cultures and am currently learning Arabic!

I love poetry. If you're a fan of TS Eliot, Sylvia Plath, Hafez or Pablo Neruda--or any other poets, we should really talk. Also, if you're a Salvador Dali fan, I would love to wax about his paintings.
What I’m doing with my life
Finishing up college, learning languages, watching Doctor Who, Tumblr-ing.
I’m really good at
Cooking + Baking
Debate
Wasting money
Video games
Procrastinating
TBell's patented double-fold (I like to laugh at myself)
The first things people usually notice about me
Tattoos, recently. Not sure why as they are not exactly in short supply around here.
And I've been told: my eyes, my lips.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
1) Prince of Tides and Beach Music by Pat Conroy; Gillian Flynn; Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald (BUT NOT Great Gatsby); To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee; James Ellroy; Human, All Too Human by Friedrich Nietzsche; Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein; A Song of Ice and Fire series; Brave New World by Aldous Huxley; Censoring an Iranian Love Story by Shahriar Mandanipour; Mother of the Believers by Kamran Pasha; The Heretic Queen by Michelle Moran; the Last Nude by Ellis Avery; Ender's Game and Speaker For the Dead by Orson Scott Card; and many more that I shan't list because the list does go on.

2) Repo! The Genetic Opera, Sin City, Gone With the Wind, the Nightmare Before Christmas, Streetcar Named Desire, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Shock Treatment!, Casablanca, The Losers, Sabrina (original), the Watchmen, V For Vendetta, LA Confidential, the Black Dahlia, Fifth Element, the Postman Always Rings Twice, Inception, The Lovely Bones, Alice in Wonderland(every version ever made, get over it), Breakfast at Tiffany's(always makes me cry), Anything Horror, Anything Hitchcock, Anything Quentin Tarantino--- more than I could ever list here. Even more so than books, I love film.

3a) I don't find the time to watch TV much, and I don't pay for cable. I do really enjoy Dexter, Family Guy, Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy, Glee, How I Met Your Mother, Once Upon a Time, and True Blood. I don't keep up with them regularly, I just Hulu or download. There are some other shows I'd like to give a shot, but I just don't have the time.

3b) Phantom of the Opera; Lestat: the Musical; Company; Little Shop of Horrors; the Producers--etc! And Bernadette Peters is a walking Goddess.

4) I listen to everything. Rather then list every genre or band that I listen to, I'm just going to periodically change the artists here so you can get a good idea of what I listen to over time. I tend to get stuck on artists sometimes, and have to devour them before I can move on. I'm currently devouring: Lana Del Rey, Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack, The Knife, Flux Pavilion, Nero, and (always)MUSE.

5) Italian and Chinese are my fave. But I enjoy trying new things. Lately I've been all about Greek yogurt.
The six things I could never do without
Besides the obviously bullshit answers like air:

-Spotify/Pandora/Music
-Rain. I don't know if I could ever live in a desert climate, I really enjoy rain.
-a job. I've been at it for far too long. I need my money.
-a fantastic pair of heels; every girl should have at least ONE pair.
-Dirty Mojitos
-Sex.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Studying abroad, internships, friends and family that I'm missing, my writing, my school work, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working the late shift. Boo.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not always easy to get along with. And I've accepted that.
I'm a HUGE JokerxHarley fan. Fanfiction addict and all. No shame, whatsoever. When I see on someone's profile that they might be more "sex-driven" than me, I take it as a challenge.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 20–45
  • Located anywhere
  • For new friends, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
We seem similar, or dissimilar.
If you find me interesting or if you think I would find you interesting.
If you're bored.
If you want to be friends.
If you also love something I love and want to scream about it.
If you're part of the human race and realize that it is a lonely existence.
If we hold polar opposite viewpoints and want to debate with me.
If OKCupid says you might be more or less "something" than me, and you think it's bullshit.
If you notice that I love sex but I'm only looking for friends and that doesn't make you want to meet up under the guise of friends, only to pressure me for sex, because you are in fact a friggin' neanderthal---this goes for women also.

Message me if you're curious.
