I love NYC but I'm a native so forgive me if I don't swoon over this town. It's just home.
I would have to describe myself as an unusual person. The path commonly taken doesn't generally appeal to me. Especially where thinking is concerned. I'm a fairly gregarious person and I usually get on well with just about everyone but that doesn't mean that my bullshit detector is broken. A writer friend described me as a "...natural alpha. None of the bluster and posturing of a fake alpha because you don't need it" (he assured me this was a compliment)

I am a furniture designer, builder and restorer. I also design showroom and retail spaces.
I'm also constantly working on my apartment. Living in a non-personalized space is like a nightmare to me. Friends who visit are always in awe of my 2 Abyssinian cats and the decor.
I'm an avid biker and skater (figure or speed).
The beach is a haven as are the woods but the idea of camping for a week in the snow no longer appeals to me.

In recent years I've gravitated toward non-fiction.
My taste in music is broad. There's good and bad in all genres. The only music that turns me off is free jazz and reggae 'cause it all sounds the same.
I'm an adventurous eater. There's nothing I won't try at least once; no matter how nasty it may sound.
I've seen more movies than most would believe. Here's a few that I'll watch to the end if I stumble upon them in progress:
