I'm more of a laid back guy who prefers a relaxing night in, but I'm never against going out and doing something.
I like to design, build, and create things but I do occasionally get lost in working on the details and the idea itself.
~I'm pretty nerdy.
~I'm a gamer (board, card, video).
~I love a good (or bad) pun and sexual innuendos.
~I'm a "relax and cuddle on the couch" type of guy.
~I'm an Eagle Scout.
~I have a Zombie Apocalypse plan.
~I don't smoke or do drugs of any sort.
I'm here trying to meet people and see if maybe I can find a good connection with someone I'm attracted to.
I hope to find someone who is pretty nerdy in their own way and proud of it.
I work out regularly so I'm also looking for someone who is in fairly good shape.
As far as first dates go, I think something a little more relaxing like bowling is a great one because you can have fun and you can talk and get to know each other. There's also just wondering around down town and maybe grabbing some coffee or ice cream.
I do have my life together and am completely self-sufficient.
I did however move to Emporia for work and haven't found a whole lot to do here and don't know too many people yet unfortunately.
A typical evening for me, if I'm not with friends in Lawrence, is most likely spent relaxing and watching some of my favorite shows or maybe playing video games or going to the gym.
I can be a pretty shy guy at first, so I don't try to grab the spotlight, but I become more animated and open after getting comfortable with someone.
The Sand Reckoner by:Gillian Bradshaw (is my all time favorite book), all Clive Cussler books about the adventures of Dirk Pitt, Encyclopedia Brown by: Donald J. Sobol, The Halo series, Enders game, World War Z, Calvin and Hobbs, The Looking Glass Wars, Reality is Broken, and many more. I'm always looking for suggestions on books to read.
V for Vendetta, Push, Pirate Radio, Iron Man, Sherlock Holmes, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, National Treasure, Van Wilder, The Da Vinci Code, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Princess Bride, Meet the Robinsons, Star Trek, Transformers 1&2, Stranger than Fiction, Alice in Wonderland, Amelie, The Hang Over, No Strings Attached, and so on in that completely random fashion.
For music, I tend to like most kinds, mainly the ones with a good beat, which could range anywhere from techno to classical music and everything in between.
I love PIZZA! As well as Chicken Alfredo, pork tenderloin, pot roast, Tacos, and pasta. I do like to cook, and although I am still pretty rusty I have hopes of becoming better.
Then for TV I have a pretty wide range of tastes. I really like Doctor Who, The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Royal Pains, White Collar, Perception, Psych, NCIS, Bones, and Supernatural. But those are your more traditional shows. I also like Mythbusters, Trigun, Phineas and Ferb, Whose Line is it Anyway, Americas funniest Home Videos, Futurama, Family Guy, How its made, and so many more.
Halo (all of them), Super Smash Bros Series, Left 4 Dead 1&2, Portal 1&2, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask/Skyward Sword, Wii Fit, and many more. I love a good puzzle game, RTS, and/or FPS. And apparently I'm pretty good at Just Dance 2.
~ A good time
~ The occasional lazy day
~ Internet and Computer
~ A good beat
~ Air (just to be literal)
And yeah I know that's 8, but I'm a rebel and hardcore like that.
I'm also amazing at procrastinating, so I'm always up for a good distraction unless its impossible to put off what it is anymore.
I'm not normally much of a bar go-er unless I go out with my female friends to help keep the shady guys away.
But that's about as private as I'm going to get until I know you better.
