Hi, I'm Evan, I'm a senior Music Composition Major at the University of Miami. I thought I'd give this whole online thing a try...I am really honest and outgoing and friendly. I love to be both really active: go out and explore the town, hike, scuba dive, meet new people, play tennis, see a concert...AND really relaxed and lazy: I love to sleep late or spend the entire day sleeping on the beach. I am looking for someone that is really fun and outgoing, beautiful but not stuck up, someone I can generally have a fun time with....whether its out at a cool bar with lots of friends or chilling on the couch watching South Park

I am really passionate about writing film music and I have spent the last 6 summers living in Los Angeles, working in the film music industry. I plan on moving out there when I graduate in May. I love composing, I write all sorts of things from symphonic orchestral underscore to the occasional rock song. I have scored over a dozen indie films/shorts spanning a wide variety of genres.

Tennis, writing music, making people feel wanted/appreciated/loved, making fun of people who pop their collars, parallel parking, sleeping...My other interests include, supporting my favorite sports teams-GO CANES, Snowboarding, Hiking, Scuba Diving, and laying on the beach.

Books: The Catcher in the Rye, 1984, EVERY Shakespeare play, To Kill a Mockingbird

Movies: I'm a huge film buff. I like almost everything from really old classic films: (The Grapes of Wrath, To Kill a Mockingbird, Metropolis) to more modern ones: (Fight Club, Office Space, The Godfather, Ocean's Eleven, Wedding Crashers, The Truman Show, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Blazzing Saddles, The Blues Brothers (The Original) The Dark Knight, The Devil's Advocate) to indie films no one has ever heard of, some of which I scored (The Caper Chronicles, This Evening's Discourse, The Darndest Things)...and MANY MANY more. I also have to add that I think that "Magnolia" is one of the most overrated films of all time.

Food: Mexican, Italian, Sushi, Thai, Indian, Steak, Chinese...pretty much anything

Film Music: Some of my favorite film scores are The Mummy Returns, Superman, The Dark Knight, Independence Day, Casino Royale, The Shadow, The Phantom, Psycho (original), Gladiator......so many others

When i'm not listening to film music: I love listening to anything classic rock & 90's rock, Favorite bands are Chilli Peppers, The Offspring, DMB, Counting Crows (mr. jones is one of my all-time favorite songs), Wallflowers, Hootie, Bob Marley, Beatles, Eagles, Zepplin....also, I like concert music from time to time: anything by George Gershwin, Stravinsky, Copeland, Chopin, Wagner, Debussey, Beethoven, John Adams, Xenakis, Satie, Bach...etc.
